I think the Blues will be hard to beat in the final. Their scrum is intimidating and defence is very strong.

    I have them as favourites.

They haven’t come up against the Canes with Lomax yet… oh wait they did in Wellington.

Whilst we are talking about context

The game where Blues picked a 6-2 bench and had 2 backs go off with injuries in the first 10 mins and Funaki had to play wing?

    That affected their scrum?

    Ofa not playing did

Whoever was the captain for that easy 3 penalty when the blues decided they'd kick to the corner, should not be captain next week.

Lol Funaki yeets it 5m forward and its Blues ball?

And missed by the same AR again. I don't think he made one correct decision in this game.

What about when we nearly beat you at Eden Park after losing our three best players right before kick off. No one mentions that.

I’m loving everyone righting off the Canes who have already beaten the Blues and Chiefs (twice) already this season.

Blues deserved their win tonight but they are beatable.

Hey can anyone desperately post more about the Hurricanes in this thread? I'm really missing that today. I hate when teams other than the Canes get discussed.

but I wouldn't use round 3 game in Wellington as the reason why

Lol I’m not. Anyway I won’t clog this thread up with this chat. Will wait until next week if we get through.

These ARs wouldn't get a gig in 2nd Division Sydney Subbies

    Frost's yellow card is fine.

Especially with Plummer tripping Muirhead earlier in the game and getting zero sanction

Pretty happy to win (easily) playing well for 30mins.

Best scrum and defence in the competition.

Hopefully the Canes players aren’t as complacent as some of their fans, but feel happy with either team.

Be nice to have the final in the Garden of Eden to send off Akira.

He failed his HIA. Wouldn’t that put him out for next week?

Yep and Caleb copping a shoulder to head when chasing through a kick in first half. Tough life for some players huh?

@Dan54 officials did nothing about two of them. Why? Usually the TMO is absolutely erect for anything resembling foul play
