No idea if they'll keep that up

Naming your team on Thursday for a wednesday game might prove problematic.

    3D chess! Confuse the opposition!

@Winger Disagree re Savea and his decision making he rushes out of the line too often and leaves huge holes for the opponent’s to run through

Interested to see how Harford goes. There was loads of hype about him a few years ago.. I guess those people have to say he's shit now because he moved North

I remember him having a few good moments but always thought the chat was way over the top. He did look good in the Blues preseason, although I think that was at fullback.

This will only be his 6th NPC start

Was there hype? I remember some people, and I was one of them, thinking he looked as though he had some tools that may be useful at Super level.

I guess it's a good sign for him that another set up outside of Canterbury see him as good enough for their NPC squad. I hope he does well.

Really? I suppose that's not surprising though given both the Highlander 10s were mentioned this year.

@African-Monkey Probably him. I consider him the thought leader of the Cantabs

Harford also got the TJ love in the commentary

Yeah Harford is a good player and one that Canterbury let walk. Crusaders didn’t have him around so blues have taken a shot and looks like he’s decided to remain there for club and NPC. Slightly different 10 than you’d expect but definitely has the skills to be a big contributor. Loves taking on the line. Wouldn’t be shocked if he remains at 10 whenever Plummer is unavailable. In saying that, I have no idea where Auckland see Sullivan playing so all of a sudden Harford could be your third choice 10. Spoiled for choice!

@Duluth O’Reilly ruled out with injury so that list you posted above was correct. Apisai comes onto the bench. 🤮

I’m interested to see how Tanielu Tele’a goes at 12. Only ever seen him used on the wing or 13. Him up against the bus, 2 big lads.

Shields turns it over and Lakai breaks out with the first real opportunity. Preston under the bar.

Nice in pass by Umaga-Jensen to put Lakai away there.
