No comments about Carrington and Hoskin? Anyway, into the K2 500 m final where the Germans will be the biggest threat.

They bettered them in the SF didn't they?

@canefan No, NZ are the quckest qualifiers. Choppy water though.

Crazy this and ribbons and upside down swimming are sports. There really needs to be an artistic olympics, 'cos it ain't olympian IMO

I'm a gymnastics, diving, synchronized swimming sort of household now, with daughters. Its awesome.

Not as good as the Athetics. But they're the next most enjoyable sports to watch at the games IMO.

Arena at the rhythmic gymnastics is currently going off.

We need the Objective Olympics and Subjective Olympics - and I know which one I would watch- It doesn't involves skateboarding (which I love doing), breakdancing, ribbons etc etc

The French chick in this relay looks the mum of one of the competitors. Dressed like a spectator.

Yep, with a 13 year old horse-mad daughter in the house, the last time I'd watched any dressage before Paris was back in the days of Mark Todd and only one channel of coverage. It's two weeks where the rugby and cricket domination of the TV gets seriously challenged 🙂

The women's 100 m hurdle SFs were a good watch. The WR holder didn't make the final.

Watched a water polo penalty shoot out this morning. Didn't know that was even a thing. Was quite exciting to be honest.

Lydia is looking a bit shaky in first 2 holes. Managed par on hole 1 but now another marginal tee shot on 2.
