Question. Should I read much into that I preferred Celine’s Hymne à l'amour and Yseults my way, over chili’s, snoop, Dre and eilish?
Have I grown up? Or am I really just an old bastard?
Does anyone else find it slightly odd that regular people get cancelled these days for saying / posting something often fairly benign, yet we are quite content to have Snoop on breakfast TV, pumping kids books, and being the face of the Olympics?
It's fairly hard to reconcile
Snoop has been VERY mainstream for decades. And the worst thing about his "persona"... pretty much weed. So...
Shit, Snoop and Martha Stewart - in an ad together for a long-necked lighter. He done sold out loooong ago. -

I haven’t worn a watch since 1999. Doubt I’ll ever wear one again unless phones are phased out completely and replaced with watch versions.
I bought my first one over 30 years ago spending about double the average weekly ordinary time earnings at the time which was a big deal as a peasant student. It didn't leave my wrist for about two decades, save for my Suunto Ambit which I still have too.
Then I slowly started accumulating them after buying myself a 40th bday present.
But about a year into covid I wore a watch less and less as I was incarcerated in my own home like everyone else.
The only real reason I want this is I prevaricated about buying it when it was released and now they don't make it anymore.
I've even considered getting a smart watch which I'm fairly sure would relegate the others to status of never wear again.

Forget the weed angle - imagine if they played Ain't No Fun over the sound system at the womens beach volleyball and everyone started singing along?!!

statute of limitations boy! it's coming up 30 years since his murder trial.
Snoop was a legit gangster. But he managed to reform his image to loveable weed smoker with some very clever pop culture moves. Being married to the same woman for 30 years helps too.

Ice Cube sounded the part but not sure he was an actual gangster.

Yeah he was part of that scene but not sure he’s ever been shot at or up on a murder charge.
He did clone himself though and starred in that crappy version of Heat that you can order from Wish….

Can anyone translate that for me please?
If you ask me if I’d rather watch a live performance of RHCP, Snoop and Dr Dre, Bille Eilish or Celine Dion and Yseult, I’d certainly say the former. Especislly RHCP over Dion,
But I didn’t. I thought were Dion and Yseult were majestic, captivating, powerful and incredible. Whilst the others were meh.
Setting certainly had a lot to do with it, but I worry it’s deeper than that.

Is this an either / or?

Um I think he started off playing gospel piano in a church.
Then became a pimp.
Now he hangs out with a convicted felon.
And still promotes weed.
So not sure he changed that much. -
And the organic IPA is alcohol-free.

And dinner in an Arabian restaurant.....with no beer or wine on the menu.
