From what I read, I not keen on what Ioane said (if it is true etc), but neither am I keen on Sexton writing about it in book.
Bit of dickheads x 2 too me.

I was quite happy with it Danny!

So am I mate, but still just sounds like a couple of dickheads. Like the Irish player that called Cane a poor Richie McCaw or whatever, quite happy with people making dickhead type comments etc when fired up etc. Still is kind of dickhead, but I wasn't always polite when I played and fired up either, nor players I was against, only we laughed about it later over a beer usually.

Thank god Sexton etc didn't play cricket eh Grubs, imagine the upset at sledging there.

He seems to be the kind of guy that can start a fight in a phonebox.

All very well having this attitude when you are a pro sportsman and need that edge to you but it won’t help him in his personal life or future careers now he is retired.

I was pretty happy with Reiko calling him out as I think there was no love lost between these 2 sides.

I was very confident we would beat them that night as I knew we would have prepared well for that game and been wanting it for some time.

It’s funny how he calls out That Whitelock didn’t release (looks like he did so not sure why h is pushing that line) but fails to mention they got away with one when Ardie should have got a turnover penalty about 5 phases before.

He should get tested if these "memories" are an indicator of his brain's health.

He also complains about the standard of his hotel in Dunedin.
It's fucking Dunedin. I've never seen a "Paris London New York Dunedin" tagline.

@Kruse Plus team bonding in QT cost them a series they should have won.

Cry me a river. The lions won the second test because the ref applied the law despite it defying common sense.

they drew the 3rd Test because the ref refused to apply the law. Despite it defying common sense.

Normally I take all these stories from a player's biography in my stride. It's just the publicity machine grinding into gear to generate sales. But Sexton really is a whiney bitch and genuinely seems to believe the long jeremiad his book (and life) seems to be.

Dunedin (Dùn Èideann) is Edinburgh. https://www.edinburghexpert.com/blog/edinburghs-twins-and-sister-cities

and has some nice rooms (the Castle has a lodge)

I know Dunedin was often referred to as Edinburgh of the South...

Because it is the Gaelic name of Edinburgh.
Ironically Edinburgh was often called the Athens of the North.
So you could argue Dunedin is the Athens of the South.
Probably not recommended to argue this in a Greek bar.

    Dunedin (NZ) or Edinburgh?

I loved Edinburgh and can heartily recommend visiting during the Fringe Festival

One of the best 2-week holidays I’ve ever had

@MiketheSnow yeah it's a good spot. Neat experience I had, running some software training in the council chambers only to be interrupted by a band playing in the square directly outside. Halted training... to watch the NZ army band do their stuff. Cracking performance.
