oh, so just the cross-code thing? That comes up all the time. It's always assumed by Aus league fans that all the Wallabies need is some great league players to dominate the world. It's just waffle.
However, as league players, those 4 (okay, maybe 3, not sure Cronk is in the others league) have pretty much earned their fellating.

I think Smith is clearly the best hooker in the modern age. Better than Backdoor Benny. Cronk and Slater are excellent players and Thurston is a generational genius.

Out of those, I think only maybe Thurston could do well in union. Not sure where you'd put Smith and Cronk is a converted centre I think.
Benji Marshall is a good example of the difficulties converted playmakers face.
