Pushups last night while watching Preacher on my tablet. 5 X 10 so that's coming along nicely.
Chinup session today on the public holiday. 5 X 2 chinups at 5 seconds each. Good burn.
Fucking left shoulder and pec still playing up. Makes me think I'm having chest pain of the wrong sort sometimes, but it never travels so I'm good.

With the chins and pull ups I found it really beneficial to actually film yourself doing it ( or get one of the kids to if you can bribe them ) to make sure you're getting the full ROM. I did and realised I could definitely improve my form although obviously that makes it harder and the reps might drop a bit.

Last night I did some pull ups (pronated grip/overhand) at shoulder width grip and while it was tough, I got through 4 sets of 2 and a set of 3.
Realised in the first two sets I was jumping into the first lift, so I slowed it down which was even tougher
They're tough. I can do 14 genuine dead hang pull ups in a row at about 98kg. Was pushing 20 til I got real and checked my form. Still wanna get to 20 but it'll be tough going. I'm not a 60kg 20 something.....

Bear in mind lots of folk can't do a single one. We're doing ok for a bunch of douches who talk to other blokes on the interweb.
