@tim This is a much better song.
Ronnie James Dio can belt out a tune as well as anyone and NO ONE can shred quite like Richie can. Always on my Mt Rushmore of guitarists.
Rainbow did some great stuff.
So good that @Stargazer named himself after this song

@mn5 Dio played this song when I saw them at MSG in 2003.
Blackmore thinks he’s a medieval minstrel nowadays judging by recent stuff I’ve seen him do. It’s a strange change for him

I'm going to listen to eternal flame, and picture the scene...
Aaaah love love love this song. 😍

On Sky Arts last night, I watched Pearl Jam on the Austin City Limits series.
Decent enough gig, where they played a lot of new stuff, with some oldies. Finished with a fantastic version of Porch whilst I'll post here purely to redeem myself with @mariner4life
They also played Army Reserve which reminded me how much I think the Avocado album is under rated. Love this song.

@majorrage fuck I love that song
Good version too.

Anyway ts nearly the weekend. Have just finished a wfh day and feel like annoying the neighbours with one of the best ever thumping bass lines
The moment we knew they were going to be big
-
listening to a lot of naughties alternative music at the moment (a lot of british bands whose name starts with The)
really liking this one, ripper of a drum track, and the siger sounds like a young Rod Stewart
-
I remember loving this song so much
Listen from about 2mins, when it builds up... Was this another song or sampled.. Feels very 90s

I haven't listened to that in ages... simple, dirty banger.
Perfect to chase the last lingering taint of weekend hangover away. -

Got fucking tricked into an 8.2% beer as my very first one of the day.
I was already hungover due to The Chills on Friday night.
Then Sunday, really struggling - and with very poor decision making - decided a couple of hair-of-the-dog beers on the way home from Farmer's Market was a good idea. But when Choice Bros closes at 2pm anyway, it would seem rude to not stick around until closing. And then, it would be rude to not drop in at Waitoa on the way as well - especially since I discovered they regularly host some sort of art-class on Sunday afternoons. And what demographic forms the vast majority of things like art-classes? Ladies. Ladies wanting to try something new. Lonely ladies wanting to get out of the house and try something new. My favourite demographic of them all. -

Bloody Duncan's - I thought I'd start with something like a sweet-sour... one of their milkshake type sours... but then realised I'd tried nearly all of them previously, except the bloody Imperial one - which the chaps talked up. So... as recent behaviour here has shown - I was easily persuaded into drinking whatever they suggested, rather than making a decision for myself.

With the news of the passing of Tawny Kitaen. There is 80s big hair everywhere but she was hawt. I could have chosen any of 4 Whitesnake music videos but this is the most well known.
David Coverdale would have to be very careful near any naked flames.
