Yeah mate I think I've busted through that now and will keep it going.

I have a decent selection of weights and stuff here so should be able to find plenty of stuff to do. Have a 16kg and 20kg KB here so will plan some kettlebell hell for later in the week. Maybe even tomorrow.

    Aiming for 20-40mins too

Chuck these on your back for pushups, BOOMFA, instant resistance. Just do them when the other half isn’t around as I got told off because they might roll off and damage the floor.

The world is a gym if you’re imaginative enough, just pretend you’re in solitary confinement and training to fight the albino when you get out ( yes I have been watching Banshee again )

Haha I aready got heat about that this morning and whether my weights had damaged the floor.

We've got a real good space for it as have recently down bit of a reno on the garage by putting up some internal walls and building a separate workshop then tidying up the rest so its basically like a studio now.

Yeah fair to say a man cave for workouts/gaming/drinking will be on the cards at the place we’re buying. That set up you have looks ideal !

@mn5 makes a real difference eh. Cars still can go in as needed but we've got good private offstreet parking behind the house there so leave em out most the time. Kids play indoor football inside there too now.

Looking to get a wall mounted TV in there too shortly once I find the right one

Putting cars in a garage is a waste. I fully intend to use mine for working out, drinking, gaming, watching sport, brewing beer, making hot sauce and for sleeping guests.

    Tuesdays Kettlebell hell

    Warmup w 16kg kettlebell
3 rounds - 10 KB swings, 10 KB deadlifts, 10 KB cleans (per side), 10 KB sumo squats

    Workout w 24kg kettlebell - every 2 mins for 10 rounds.
    15 KB swings
    5 goblet squats
    10 pushups
    10 situps

Short and sharp effort. Found I had about 45-50 seconds rest each round at the start but got down to about 30seconds on the latter sets.

Only a very short workout this morning - about 14-15mins of work as had/have a 730am call

Thursdays workout - Too much B/s

    20-18-16-14-12-10-8-6-4-2 Reps of:
    Burpees
    Kettlebell Swings (20kg)

Stretching / recovery - actually just 7-8mins of making an excuse for lying down

Workout itself is pretty straight forward and hoped to do it unbroken but realised after about 15-16 of the first sets burpees that it wasn't gonna happen - they just gas you!

Not sure if its due to the 110 burpees or the 110 kettle bell swings but feelin it

Do it mate. It's not bad once get thru the first couple of big rounds of burpees and the reps come thru. From 10 reps down it just flys by. The burpees were the hard part really and the kb swings were what I used as “rests”.

I got a good little workout planned for tomorrow morning. Watch this space

    @jk I did...

BUrpees, restance band sumo deadlifts, seated rows (with resistance bands) tricep push downs and then after each round of those, did 40 mountain climbers.

Burpees are killer, havent done them for ages!

    Sounds awesome!

These sorts of workouts are funny. Often they seem killer but aren’t actually that bad then others you think will be easy and they just wreck you!

@jk yeah burpees just suck arse, plain and simple, SUCK ARSE.

IN what I did yesterday the resistance band sumo deadlifts were harder than they should have been straight after the burpees!

Burpees seem easy but then all of a sudden hit ya like a ton of lead….that lead goes to your legs and stops you jumping at the end.

    They’re grim.

Must do some in amongst the heavy bag workouts on cardio days.
