Are your 100 deadlifts one continuous set? Do you have any kind of breaks or get into a rhythm and stick?
Nick I'm guessing its not 1 set. 60kgs isn't a huge weight but trying to do a hundy straight even with that would be an unbelievable effort.

I've done 100 deads and I staggered it in a few sets 25,20,15 etc trying to have 5-10 secs break in between.

I do the first set of a decent amount (anywhere between 25-35 without impairing my ability to do the rest while maintaining form...) then usually sets of 10-15. I only put the weight down, stand up flex hands and then start over or turn around have a sip of drink and pick them up again...max of 6 or 7 seconds rest.

No matter how you break it down 100 reps is still mean as! Normally I go for 10*10 if I'm doing a 100 reps of something - but knocking out 20+ on the first set does give you some great momentum! How are your hands holding up? building some lovely calluses?

    ran up the mountain today.

Went up the shorter track (45 sec slower than my best time) and came down to my stair section.
The last 15 or so steps are tough, steep and just slightly bigger than a normal stride, but not big enough to take 2 strides per step...had the quads on fire on the first rep!

Before I started I thought I'd do 15, after 2 I knew I'd only be doing 10, after 8 I almost passed out and a bit of bial in my very, very dry throat...so I walked the next 1 and walked half and ran half of the last 1 to make sure I did 10...SERIOUSLY FARKED!!

16.20 for the 'sprint' (aka fast jog)

49.30 for the total run.
Was gonna just do 10, but after the 10th, decided to go hard on another, but at least I ran all of them today; 44.37 total run.

Those last lot of steps are a mission, but man it feels great after I finish!! <img src='http://www.daimenhutchison.com/rugby/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />
glutes still a bit sore today, so did some rolling on the medicine ball to loosen up (still hurts...) then walked up the mountain with a 5kg plate in each hand, and did 13 'sprints' this week (11 last week) obvously I put the weights down while doing my 'sprints'

Pretty hard going coming down carrying the plates after the stair 'sprints' a little over an hour out there today.

warm up on the punch bag.

100 dips - really struggled tonight, first lot was 25, then at about 70 odd, I was only doing sets of 3, drop to ground and then re-gripping and 3 more...
75 assisted pull up - again, struggled, felt my forearms really struggling, so decided not to do 100 after last time it took almost a week for the forearms to recover
150 round the worlds with 5kg plate.

signed up today to do the 11km Coastal Challenge next weekend; MIlford Beach round to Devonport, should be fun.

Aside from a solitary 12km run last year, as far as I can recall, this will be the furtherest I have ever run by some distance...at School I think our Cross Countries were about 4-5km, and I have run a few 5-7km runs last year as well.

DOing a 9km fun run 2 weeks later as well.
