@Snowy everyone keeps laughing and pointing at the Highlanders and I really don't get it. We can certainly put out a better side than the Canes did and the Blues are cursed.
Highlanders to be there or thereabouts come finals time and provide 3-4 new ABs. Gaan Brownie!

The Canes have a made a habit of getting touched up early in the season and then coming right. That won't happen this year. We're toast without Beauden, going to be a long season alright.

After watching the game on the weekend, I'm thinking of starting a rumour the Canes management are so desperate they're even scouting for players in the Gallagher English Premiership.
Of course, they'd have to be as Kiwi as Lemon and Paeroa.....

If S15 players like Willi Heinz can make the England team then the Canes would need to be really, seriously desperate to scout the English Leagues

TBH we're missing Ardie more, he was best player in NZ SR and ABs last season

In 2021 Hammett will return to the Canes and sack TJP and Ardie. The result will be very good training but a four year plan to return to being contenders.
NZR will realise that the BB to the Blues experiment backfired badly now Cruden has returned to the first choice AB 10 and will use their new sponsorship deal with Boeing to lease him a private jet to attend training in Dunedin alongside TJP. -

I don't know what game you were watching but I don't think we even had a polynesian forward starting in that game? Unless Riccitelli, Armstrong, Blackwell, Prinsep, Scrafton, Evans meet your definition of a polynesian?

I know he's basically an empty jersey, but he is Polynesian.
