Hit my three targets for the week. Pub, haircut, car wash. Not sure what to do with myself now.
Good man. Haiircut this morning and washing my car today. And had root canal treatment yesterday..
Dentist was saying they had appointments cancelled on Monday because patients couldn't get parking in the town. Insane levels of traffic apparently.
Haircut today. Have had same tooth root canalled three times. Never again.

Painless. Had niggling aches every now and again with this tooth for decades but couldn't find out what was wrong. Dentist thinks there was poss.a small infection lurking under the root which finally got big.
Lockdown ending, pubs open (ish), tooth sorted and looking at a new motorcycle. Good week.

Got my first jab (Oxford/Astra Zeneca) a couple of hours ago. Efficient organisation at a medical centre about ten minutes in a taxi from home. Almost painless. Walked home afterwards. No negative side effects so far. All good!
Give it 12-24 hours ...
Mine took about 15hrs. Wife crashed about 18hrs later. Small sample size admittedly. And have heard of someone with no symptoms.
-
@r-l Fine, thanks. Nearly 12 hours afterwards and nothing much so much so far. Just a bit of a headache this afternoon.
-

@booboo i had flu like symptoms for 24hrs about 12hours after the first, then nothing from the second jab I had the other day thankfully! Yet my colleague was the other way around.
Isn't your reaction the way it should work? Someone here will know more about it than me, but after the first jab and your immune system is aware of the "intruder" so the second time it says "oh this bloody thing again, I know how to deal with this shit". Completely oversimplified of course.

My arm just ached a bit for a couple of days after AZ. Mrs Meldrew was laid low for a day or two.
Having my second jab next week.

Had some chills when I went to bed last night but got reasonable sleep. Bit sore this morning but off we go.
Let's hope they're not multiplying. We know where that leads.

I had my first one when my tooth was starting to feel odd a couple of days before US flight, wanted to avoid complications and popped into local dentist.
He did it then and there. What a rude awakening!
Then after a few years tooth felt a bit spongy. X-ray showed infection. So off to specialist who did a precision redo. Turned out that tooth had four twisted roots, but local chap had only seen three.
Never got a crown, and about four years later got an infection through filling.
So another precision redo. This time got a crown promptly.
Good as gold!
Pub supper tonight. World almost feels like normal...

He's Honey. Hon is far too familiar and his reaction is appropriate, we hardly know each other.
You on the other hand sweetie, I'm sure that we can "hon" you more if it makes you feel good. Why hold back?
You do know what you have started now don't you hon.
