Silly question: who is hosting?
I could look, but lazy.

Crusaders dead certainties to win the comp with their bonus points. They only lose if they lose both games to the blues, or split them and drop another. It's not happening, unless 2020 is the year of the apocalypse.
Going to be a cracker, and I'm delighted to be competitive again. We're building and finally have some hope for a better future
-
12,500 tickets already sold for this one.
You'd have to think it will sell out.

Home team is first in the title
Ahh. The @Stargazer protocol
-
Of course. Otherwise I'd get told off
-
The teams look pretty evenly matched in most areas, but the Blues have a big edge in the loosies. May be the winning and losing there.
-
@KiwiMurph Hmmm would be surprised if it did tbh. I bought my ticket a few weeks ago so they've been on sale for a while. I doubt there will be a massive surge in sales with 5 days to go.
-
Crusaders have been run to the wire by teams who pass up opportunity after opportunity. The blues won't do that.
Blues by ten.

Have you been to the supermarket in 2020?
All points to a Blues win...

I'd love the Blues to win, but not at the cost of the end fo the world. Honeslty, I had to think about it for a bit, but on balance we can wait to next year
-
Crusaders to win by a single score.

Isn't Beaudy gone next year? The Blues have to do it right now!

It’s the Blues to lose and you should be confident. Although I just spoke to Rangi and forewarned him about any pizza deliveries going to his boys...

We’ve got a Blues reject at halfback, a 1st 5 that can’t tackle, a fumbling midfield with the guy wearing 13 on his back that is not a centre. It’s a revolving door on the wings which is disruptive. One of our best backs is 15 years old, and Havili doesn’t know if he’s a 12, 15 or 10, plus he has a jammy knee.
Plus we are missing McCaw, Read, Franks, Carter, Ellis and Flynn.

Ouch
I think that conclusively claims underdog status
-
@Duluth Beauds with a length of the field try in the dying minutes, dotting down in the corner while saluting the crowd.
Nails the conversion.

You had me until the conversion from the sideline bit

I’m pretty sure Rangi played in at least one of those three home losses, so that counts in the Blues favour doesn’t it?
😎

About 3000 tickets left for Crusaders v Blues in Christchurch on Saturday night.

1996 figures heavily in those stats.
One of the losses
Lowest for
Highest against
Worst loss margin
Worst losing streak (with 1998). -
@Chris-B Mr Sotutu scored that game.

LOL, Weedon getting a rematch with the Auckland boys after Onewa Domain.

@Duluth Crikey - there would be half a dozen red cards from that excerpt these days - probably starting with the tackle on Dempster.

The softer the game becomes the better the Crusaders do
-
@Duluth I am unbeatable at tiddlywinks!

Love that the rugby was actually second in coverage to the fights.
Ahhh the days of yore.

A very simple part of me misses the rugby codes as they were

Hard men, regardless of size, fighting. Sometimes for possession of the ball.

Canterbury certainly has the most feral supporters that I have been to (Never been to Caketin for Rugby)
Wouldn't love wearing a Blues jersey this weekend, which is pretty sad really as Rugby shouldn't have the dross that football has
