On the bright side at least there were only 6 prosecutions for being mean on the internet. Luckily there was clearly no other presssing crime in London during this time where resources could have been better put towards.

Had a mate over from New York a couple of weeks ago. We got into a slanging match over which of our two cities we work in has the worst Mayor.
It got quite heated, as both of us are firmly entrenched in our position, but I think the violent crime rise over social justice bullshit slant got me the win.
Rory Stewart is going to run as an independent in the next one. I quite liked him on he campaign for PM which he ran. Certainly more centre right than Boris with what I'd view as the right level of pragmatism.
I literally cannot wait for this city to be freed of Sadiq. I thought he was a great move when he got it and showed the liberalism of this city. I was wrong.

@MajorRage Ha that is quite a debate! But yeah Khan is actually killing folk so he wins that one. I've joined a Telegram group of one of the TR supporter crowd and there are all too regular videos being shared of London street crime which is absolutely shocking. One today had two women fighting each other on a main street when a bloke wanders over and starts stabbing one of them repeatedly with the police right there. Proper insanity.

I don't know if I'd say he's killing people, but he certainly isn't protecting them to the best of his abilities with the resources available to him.

As a former awkward spaz when it comes to women, this terrifies me. I know some young guys who are justifiably afraid to ever approach a girl these days.

Of course its not normal its a teenage boy. They aren't exactly relationship experts. Prison time for touching a girl on her arm? A lot of lads don't have a father figure to help them navigate these situations and instead rely on teen movies where the handsome quarterback confidently approaches the gorgeous cheerleader touches her arm while looking into her eyes making her weak at the knees with desire. The kid's an idiot for sure, were you free from idiocy as a teen? I wasn't, hell this was me until well into my 20's.

Times have drastically changed since we were his age.

@MiketheSnow Yes... that is a truism. It is wether they have changed for the better in this regard that is the question.

I don't think an article has ever summed up Corbyn better:

Imagine the horror of having to prove who you are to vote! The HORROR!!!

Crikey, the old "Non-white people don't have the wherewithal to attain ID" argument...settle down their Heinrich!
I wonder how postal votes will go? That was a considerable concern recently.

I see they quote Darren Hughes in the article . It’s the same Darren Hughes that was an mp here till a naked teenage boy was found by police running from his house one night .

Boom! Boris already making an impact!

Just listening to Markus Meecham (Count Dankula) on a podcast. He's been trying to buy a house and despite meeting bank criteria he was decline from numerous banks because 'Nazi pug'. His mortgage broker says he's never seen anything like that in 20 years. He has finally found somewhere but it's pretty incredible. Worst crime in the world clearly.

TBF, it’s not a conspiracy, it’s because he has a conviction. Now it may be unfair that he has got one, but it’s on his file and that’s the end of it. FYI unless a loan is out of standard criteria his application will almost certainly not have been viewed by a human. Pretty much all banks use loan origination systems that connect directly to credit bureaux. The applications are scored based on correlation with a huge number of data points, and not all of them are intuitive. The “Scorecard” workflow generally assigns the applications to one of 3 buckets, approve, conditionally approve or reject, with actual people only looking at the middle one. With a conviction his will be going straight to reject. Harsh, but that’s the way it works.
-
@JC You could very well be right. He did specifically say of one example where they googled his name saw the articles and declined on that, but that's only his or his brokers word. It would be interesting as to what level of crime would preclude someone from getting a mortgage on their house.
