Understand that, and I not really suggesting Goodhue should go or Reiko start for ABs, I think it balance of team, I shudder to think we would pick a team that won't lose a match, I a fan of picking a team to win. And Goodhue is quite capable of being in that. but I do think you need pace, and maybe it depends who is on wings and inside centre.

I come from the era when the mark of a top 13 was how many tries the wings scored. JG has that skill.
Sooo....we should send him back to the 80s? Has the hair anyway.
Send Rieko back to learn how to hold a line and pass!
Funny how these are the discussions a week after he put two people away for tries. One of them when he didn't throw a stupid early pass that would have been picked off in traffic which would have set the moaners off. (Hope he doesn't morph into hungus Masaga 2 this week to make a liar out of me
).I'm also a JG fan at centre, not bloody 12 like last years experiment.

I'm a JG at 13 fan as well. 12 was a bloody disaster I reckon.
Also, on Rieko, people aren't talkinga bout the gas and the workrate to get up and take AKira's pass to score the try. Not many players are going to do that, get clear 35 m out and then get to the tryline. Great work

Was that the one that we should be expecting school boys to do? It's sad that is considered outstanding midfield play nowadays.
I like Rieko, he is a magnificent athlete and has pace to burn. He is improving as a centre for sure.
I also like JG, but I said a few years ago I was worried about his pace when he was run down from behind during a Crusaders game and I think that lack of pace may be coming back to bite him. He's only going to get slower. He is still the best centre in NZ at setting up others and on defence IMO.
I guess it depends what the selectors want in their centre.

Goodhue had been nothing special this season, Ioane a shit ton better, even with his lapses back into being a selfish winger. You've obviously been under a rock last year or so.
I'm intrigued to see how anyone defends a wet sack.
..When I got out of my suspiciously long shower, the loving wife tried to kick my balls in. Luckily my wet sack defence was up to the task.
