Couldn’t let the day go by without a special mention to one of our GOAT athletes - inspirational person over her career and deserves all of the accolades that came her way. I am sure she will be around to carry on her good work with many more up and coming stars for a long time to come. Thanks Dame Val and enjoy some quality family time.

What an athlete. Absolute class. Still salty that some eastern bloc records mean she isn't as high up the list as she should be. I really hope she stays involved, but would totally understand if she takes a break for a while. It was emotional watching her say she was hanging up her size 14 boots.
