    @Damo he’s hands down the best 8 in NZ. His work rate is absolutely immense, and he’s consistent.

    Not the greatest of games, but a good win nevertheless. Lots of young players in that Canes squad and they managed to deal with the bad officiating and turn things around.

    Kiwi teams 3 - 0 v Aussies. The Highlanders have the toughest job, tomorrow.

    The big dilemma for.mine is how do we got both Jordie and Jordan in the ABs. Jordie must have almost more touches then any other 15.

    Only flicked it on for a few mins but Canes looked in complete control.

    Looking good for another whitewash season.

    Jordan is a must. He is pure class. Let Jordan play 14. Jordie 15. Beauden Barrett on bench.

    Definitely more prominent at 15

    Reece-Jordie-Jordan has to be our back 3. Jordan has and will continue carve up on the wing, no need to shift him to FB when we don't have other great wing options and we already have a world class 15.

    I thought PUJ had a great game defensively tonight, he really shut down Paisami on multiple occasions.

    @Canes4life Yeah, the PUJ-Sullivan combo is definitely the best midfield for the Canes. Holland will probably change it for the next game now.

    When have either of Reece or Jordan played left wing?

    Cudos to Julian Savea, I’m happy to hold my hand up as one of his baggers when he came back to NZ but he really has got himself in great nick. Awesome to see he’s enjoying his rugby again.

    Thought Morgan was very good tonite and Sullivan always a threat. Savea and Barrett the stars as always. But have the Reds backs ever played that badly before? Paisami Daugunu and Campbell coughed up a huge number of times between them. Well done Hurricanes with that fightback.

    I think Caleb Clarke has a higher ceiling than Reece and he plays left wing, unlike Reece or Jordan.

    @antipodean Reece has played plenty of games on the left wing.

    This only ABs:
    3 starts at 11;
    13 starts at 14;
    1 one game from the bench (23).

    He's played more games on the left wing for the Crusaders. May have been when Bridge was injured.

    I agree but Clarke needs to play and find some form in Super rugby again after prioritising 7s over 15s. At the moment Reece is ahead of him.
