Good to see both Josh Ioane and Rivez Reihana in the training photos released. I wonder if Ioane will be in the 23 this week?

Well I already for this game, going up to New Plymouth, so hoping for good weather. I expecting Chiefs will play the likes of Slater, Vai'i, Boshier, PGS and Rona, get the local boys out there?

The Chiefs don't have a true openside playing so will need to keep Wright and McReight quiet. I am sure Boshier would have played if he didn't get injured in the last game. Parker is an 8/6.

@Bovidae was hoping to see Laghlan Mcwhannell. Any ideas why he is not involved? Good to see Moli back. Not the strongest of teams for either side but Chiefs backline looks potent.

@ARHS McWhannell is over his injury and playing/training again. Not enough places in the 23 I would think. With MSR selected there are 4 locks in the team for the Reds game. I predict he'll get a trip to Perth.

Surely he plays 8 and Luke J plays 7. McReight is a great 7, and needs quality matching up against him. Parker is a big unit, suited to 8

I think that's how it may end up in open play. The Chiefs have selected a big loose forward trio.

The Chiefs team graphic has been amended. Jacobson is now listed at 7.

Chiefs lose 50m in territory because DMac kicks possession away within the Reds' 22.

Finau looks like a weapon on attack and defense.
