If Fakatava still had his shit haircut he'd have a rival for the crown in Vijoen.

@Duluth theres a young Aaron Smith about him , looks a tough rooster for his size as well as not afraid to take on the guard dogs

He might finally be a decent chicken runner, it's weird we haven't really had any decent Saffa players.

Nah he doesn’t count. He just happened to be born in SA as his parents were working there briefly. His grandfather was an AB

Rawlinson is the best so far

By virtue of being the only one?

Also Riccitelli. A really average bunch from a country with so many talented players (who have provided quality players to other countries test teams).

Technically Mark Telea is "South African" and would therefore be the best of the bunch.

Canterbury should be disappointed they're letting in so many tries. Their attack has been great but letting in 4 Poo tries is embarrassing for such a good team.

@Stargazer looks like the Turbos have some good young players , but have just made far too many mistakes , Brett Cameron who is one of their more experienced players has been very poor , Brayden Iose has been quiet by his standards.
Talking to a friend who follows the Turbos they always seem to lose some really good young talent as well , throw in several injuries they have at the minute it, the mountain just gets higher.

I wouldn't mind if the Magpies poach Vijoen in the future - after all he did play for Hastings Boys. 😉
