As expected the Irish (at least the Leinster fans) are up in arms. The Irish like to think of themselves as the custodians of fair play etc. Such hypocrites!

Irish fans are all dickheads too

Balls. Your true Irish fan is as good as their beer, far better than their fire water & novelists but not quite up to their actors, playwrights and poets.

Did some of these long suffering fans lose the run of themselves? To be sure, to be sure. But thank fuck they did. Made finding semi and finals tickets all the easier.

Huh go figure, I hadn't noticed a heck of a lot of whinging. Just delicious slaying.

Look at the scoreboard. Only losers whinge 😁. Very small sample size, but the Irish and English fans I've met were pretty nice. To be fair, this all started because Johnny is a whinger

I’m not prepared to read Sexton’s book because I don’t really take to the guy and also it is likely to be a complete whinge-fest. However, unlikely to surpass the amount of whinging on this thread..

And to think the Brits onced led the world in whinging. Oh how the snarky, self-deserving, sanctimonious and embittered have fallen. You happy bouncy isles-dwellers!

I will light a very small violin in memory as a sign of simple decent respect.

By the way, nice counter whinge...

Journalist: hi Johnny, are you sure you were born after 1949 in the Republic of Ireland?
Sexton: Yes, why the effin Peyper do you ask?
Journalist: Because your family told me you were born in ire.

Would that be along the lines of ā€œnot smarter, just better informedā€?

@Catogrande I take it back, you've learnt nothing, make your statement and stand by it, right or wrong, that is the way.

I wouldn’t pay to read it but I’d definitely have a flick through if it was at a bookstore or on someone coffee table.

Not even the bargain bucket at the bookstore in month?

Any more than 99 cents and I’d be saying no

You know that you can read what dickheads have to say for free on the internet right?

Well, you must do you're here, so save your 99c.

Interesting points. But let’s be clear:

He was no Carter snd Carter had zero track record of being an absolute fluffybunny. Carter also had no need to put any crap like this in his book in order to sell it ..

Laughable how they say it’s riled up the kiwis just before the bloke goes on about why he’s riled up about it …

@MajorRage do they mention the moment after the whistle, which they make a point is important where it is clear Sexton says something to Ioane which would appear to have prompted Ioanes barb?

    @taniwharugby only in passing.

To be fair, I do get where they are coming from and the point is valid.

Sexton doesn’t seem to have many sticking up for him in most comments I’ve read. Which I think says a lot.

@MajorRage oh absolutely, which makes you think there was more water under the bridge to have that much ill-feeling to give a serve like that.

Its been said now, Sexton will have to live with it, maybe Ioane regrets it, maybe not.

From what I read, I not keen on what Ioane said (if it is true etc), but neither am I keen on Sexton writing about it in book.
Bit of dickheads x 2 too me.
