There are far too many bash it up players in the Landers backline. Just not the right balance tonight.

Judging from the 10mins I saw, the classic Highlanders. Complete inability to make sensible decisions. Looked aimless.

Well done Reds. Thought they bought the heat and put the Landers forwards under all sorts of pressure

Backs were also very poor. Just dumb decision making really. A lot to work on.

The backs were not the problem.
The whole Landers squad were the problem tonight. Not sure much went right apart from Tangitau’s hustle.
Hurley had a shocker, centres were very average and the scrum wasn’t functioning.

Didn't look at all like a JJ team. Zero cohesion, no direction. Felt like watching us under Mauger.
I think it’s going to be a slow process to get this team playing like a Jamie Joseph team. Real lack of game smarts

Well that was well and truly our worst half of footy this season. Like I said above, a bad time to have it. That’s 2 home losses on the bounce before heading to a 2 weeks tour in Aus against the Brumbies and Force.
Really need to get some answers and bounce back because losing those 2 could cause heads to drop and all of a sudden the season starts to get away from us.
Really disappointing result, extremely disappointing second half. Just have to move on and learn from it, hopefully the young boys can stay in the fight and grow from losses like these.

Hurley was bog average but the game was lost by the second half performance of the Highlanders props.

Backs were far from glorious, but they had zero clean ball to work off… in the 20 minute stretch before halftime when the forwards did their job we were all over them.
