@Baron-Silas-Greenback or both
Add in lack of intelligence and it’s a wonder the lights are on really.

I'd also throw in a heap of resentment born from being taught an extremist ideology at our modern learning institutions

A political party largely despised by the country was forced to hold its conference in secret and banned the press from taking photos and video out of fear of backlash for the hateful and divisive ideology.
Kyle Chapman and his neo Nazi followers.... gotcha it was actually the Greens -
I know this is largely an older story, but a couple of things:
The Labour Party is reviewing an investigation into bullying, sexual harassment and sexual assault by a Labour staffer.
So we have alleged sexual assault...
She would not say if the person was still employed, saying it was not an employment issue but a party issue.
Er, both wrong, sexual assault is a police issue.

Remember the furore when John Key pulled a waitresses hair? Labour seems to have a pretty serious issue with sexual predators in its ranks but it’s apparently no big deal .
I think our part time pm is in Vogue soon , so that should take their rape culture out of the headlines for a day or too.

It seems pretty obvious now when the likes of Marvelly, Mau and labour and green MPs protest about rape culture and the patriarchy it’s all about the target not the cause .
The silence from all of them over the fact a victim of sexual assault who works for the pm had to go to Bennett for help is amazing .

Not politics directly, but utterly blithering incompetence at the border with huge consequences for the family.
-
@Donsteppa that was tragically sad. Especially as some border staff were questioning the (poor) decision-making by the police involved. How on earth was consulting with Interpool left off their run-sheet - especially where that was common practice. A huge training failure at best. Really feel for the father, sounds like he has F-all chance of getting access to his son now. That is heartbreaking.

Perhaps the police could fund a snatch back raid?

They should send the idiot who let them go in the first place. Don't they have procedures to follow?

@Kirwan possibly better to leave it to them than the SAS... gotta make sure you get the right village and all
Send Nicky Hagar in!

She should have been held in contempt of parliament earlier this year, but this news is better late than never...

Labour are doing a good job of changing the discussion from one about their rape culture to one about bullying

Finally Mau has actually deigned to address Labours huge issue of rape culture, still she pulls her punches.

One of Labour’s standout MPs is stepping down. By standout I mean in the collection of utterly ineffective and mediocre people that make up labour her incredible incompetence managed to set her apart .
