Oh gee, now the big guns are wading in. Listen up everyone!
The last famous person offering support to de-princed Harry and his slattern was Lady Elton John wasn't it? The aged hip pop star in his mid '70s raising himself up in his walker and waving his walking stick in the direction of an unwelcoming, nasty, stingy and thoroughly racist Queen. I recall he saw real advantage in lining himself up with the Goddess Diana and she identified real advantage being his very closest ever friend since, well, before she was born - they both milked that association for all it was worth.
It seems this appalling pair has been sending out best friend requests to Fat Oprah, Bonce and the snarling mrs abdul obama - even the Clinton Crime Family has them sucked in - who is "stormyz"? The modern version of the Spice Girls? Should I know this already?
So off they jet to Canada, eh? - you can bet the rent money that Margaret Trudeau and Fidel Castro's lad, mini-prime minister Jussie Trudeau, will soon be pulling up out front, decked out in his Royal Canadian Mounted Air Force uniform and medals, within the first few days, to welcome his newest bestest buddy and to stare and stare at his missus' tits.
Mixing with the opportunistic, greed and fame driven wealthy would be the most uncomfortable experience I reckon - you'd be stripped down and into the shower as soon as you got home to scrub them off.

I'm not at all sure what you mean Bones - you might elaborate because it certainly did not read like approval.

Also stormzy is a dickhead
What gave that away - his nickname or supporting Corbyn?

It’s the nickname, it’s the Corbyn supporting , it’s the virtue signaling, it’s the vibe of the thing

You're a fan of elaboration? I never would have guessed from your post. 😊

I’d still have a beer with Harry any time. But his Mrs bores the tits off me. And I’ve got quite big tits.
He picked the wrong girl. And she's changed him for the worse. He should have listened to his brother, but the heart wants what it wants (and probably little head too).

Canadians not overjoyed about Harry and Meghan staying longterm. What a pack of filthy racists....

Few updates on thread-of-the-year:
Quite a few stories coming out of Canada now about them not being welcome, although not making huge inroads here in the motherland. Attenborough and the climate crusaders have stolen their thunder somewhat.
Harry has first official Royal Duties since their announcement ... will be interesting to see there is any kickback. I doubt it. It's doing the draw for the rugby league world cup. My wife also noted that they had a social media release about the invictus games. Given these two things, does add weight to the argument, that they do only want to continue on with the parts of the role they enjoy.
Piers Morgan needs to let it go tho. Another column, more tweets etc. He's looking a little obsessed.

@MajorRage Harry does not strike me as being the sharpest tool in the shed. Coupled with an american TV star and all that it brings, and with Harry desperate to please, I think they made this decision without really thinking things through. I wonder what the odds are of them calling things quits inside a few years?

@MajorRage said in Royal drama:
@canefan I actually think Harry is a good guy, who has a right mix of Royal and progressive thinking. Part of this is standing by his wife, as opposed to his Grandmother.
I expect they will separate within 5 years.
No doubt he is a good guy. And I'm not saying Markle is bad. But he picked the wrong type of girl to cope with the rigours of life as a royal

@canefan American actress to royal doesn't tend to go well. Exhibit A: Princess Grace. On the surface they seem like similar worlds with the glitz and glam, but they really aren't. The whole bone deep duty to crown and country, the upholding of literally centuries of royal tradition and protocol, time and place and position is about as opposite to free and easy me me me Hollywood as it's possible to be.
