I know I've just fully made my peace with the Trump show. Maybe it isn't a 'presidential' thing to say..but do previous presidents really belong on a pedestal? Maybe they have better verbal ability and were super careful to make sure they never gave away their true opinions, say one thing and mean another, but is that really what we want from leaders? Maybe it is.. I dunno. He sure as hell is different. Reminds me of some of Churchill's lines.

@Snowy @Bones It’s not like playing for the Maori. You need more than a fingernail to qualify here.
Bloody colonials eh.

Megan wins.
Don’t like much the hypocritical attention seeking crap they’ve got up to, but totally with them here. Happy for them
The ruling makes ugly reading for the Mail on Sunday. Basically they drove a cart and horse through UK privacy laws to publish the Duchess' letter. This is still an interim judgement, more to come on copyright issues and damages.
I think this increases the likelihood of the former royals visiting UK later in the year, but I suspect they will stay California residents for some time yet.

Poor Eugenie just gave birth a few days ago, can't even have a moment in the sun I guess.
Not a huge monarchist, but I admire Eugenie & Beatrice. They seem to have made their own way in the world, have had to struggle with things like dyslexia but seem well-balanced, successful on their merits and don't take themselves too seriously.
And anyone who wears an outrageous hat to a wedding and sells it for £90,000 to raise money for charity is def. OK in my book.

@Victor-Meldrew honestly, with that dad, and that mum, the fact they turned out relatively chilled and ok is a miracle.
