What are you listening to, right now................

@Hooroo free version still gives whole library I think. You probably can't share stuff with mates or family, and you might get ads? I pay for premium to avoid ads and be able to download so I can listen to stuff when off-line, like on a long plane ride - ha ha, long plane rides, remember those??!!

@Hooroo I don't use Spotify myself but Spotify Premium is included with selected Spark mobile plans. So if you use Spark it could be available to you free.
Bovidae, do you know how much I love your work?? Do you!!!???
Thanks mate!
Ferntastic result!!!

we have the family option which is great because it's fucking cheap, and everyone gets their own profile
doesn't the free version limit the number of skips you are allowed as well?
fuck ads too. always a bit jarring when hanging out with some povo fluffybunny who has the free version

Man all these cheap as subscriptions add up eh
'povo fluffybunny' signing in here. I keep meaning to upgrade on Spotify but the free version is better than radio and only slightly annoying. Especially if I just get it to play songs I like.

So we have this:

Obviously you love your organ, but don’t beat it to death...
Followed by this:

So I was driving home last night thrashing Tool
Obviously not following advice, and don't do that when driving!
Other good advice in there about Spotify premium (yes free with Spark). The ads annoyed me too. Premium is pretty cheap anyway I think.

Spotify is an absolute bargain at 5 times the price if you ask me. I would happily pay a tonne more for it if the artists would get better compensation
Listen to what you want, when you want without any faffing at all.
It's all so new to me! I have been downloading up a storm! I forgot how much I love the Smashing Pumpkins. It's algorithm on what it thinks you like isn't too shabby either.

I love this track. Ian at his amusing best and the bassline is just bangin.

@Crucial said in What are you listening to, right now................:
@MN5 one of my live gig highlights was watching NW-R playing that (with a nice solo) on his '62 Jazz
Trust me, it’s a fucken tough one to try and play along too.
I have much better teeth though

Love this track
Yep. One of the few covers that is better than the original I reckon (and I like Al Green).

Been listening to a little more Police lately and this video came up on YouTube. I like Rick Beato's channel because he takes the effort to break down songs which satisfies my math based musical curiosity. On the topic of "copying" vs "inspiration" and how every song has already been written. Then there's Sting:
