1 Aenima - ToolI've crossed out albums I don't have.
I was doing the same thing in my head and at some point I have owned most of those albums but not Underworld I don't think, unless that is the album relating to Trainspotting?
Born Slippy is the song from the Trainspotting soundtrack, and is probably their most famous.
Go listen to Sky Valley by Kyuss, it's fucking awesome. Especially if you love QoTSA

One of my favourites too. I've seen them live a bunch of times.. the 20th anniversary concert for that album at the roundhouse in London was probably the best
This song from one of Thurstons side projects in 2013 is a good impersonation of that era of SY.

One band that I am loving at the moment is Talking Heads. Hearing a lot of it and am looking for a best of album to purchase
My love of Living Colour took me to Talking Heads through their cover of Memories Can't Wait. Once you start listening to them you realise you actually know heaps of their songs (especially the 'singles').

It takes me back to the first time I got drunk. It was at the Port Waikato Surf Live Saving Club. They had that and the B52's and I have loved both those bands ever since.

That's a good first time drunk experience. Better than the threw up all over myself and can't remember anything after the first hour. Although, personally I can't actually remember the first time I was drunk so it clearly wasn't memorable in either direction.

No no, Nepia, I did that too! In fact I power chucked down a flight of 20 steps and not a drop hit the steps, it all landed on the bottom floor. We were all rather impressed. So much so that I don't remember having to clean it up
Jelly shots will do that to a young-un.

My first ever CD was Talking Heads: The Best of - Once in a Lifetime.
I remember days and crazy nights

Well, that's my day fucked then ... I mean, I could do work ... or I could think about my own top 20 list ...
That is an outstanding collection of music though, especially number 4, which is my number 1.
Disappointed at the lack of GnR though.

In true fern fashion I'll look at this from a glass is half empty perspective....
Where is Blood Sugar Sex Magic ?
Where is the Real Thing or Angel Dust ?
Where is any GnR?
Are Tool seriously deserving spots 1 and 2 ?

Ok here we go ... have a few caveats which I'll put at the end
1 Faith No More: King For a Day Fool For A Lifetime
2 Alice In Chains: Jar Of Flies*
3 Smashing Pumpkins: Siamese Dream
4 Tool: Undertow
5 Pearl Jam: Vs
6 Rage against the Machine: Rage against the Machine
7 Tool: Anema
8 GNR: Appetite For Destruction
9 Foo Fighters: The Colour And The Shape
10 Powderfinger: Internationalist
11 Alice In Chains: Dirt
12 Red Hot Chili Peppers: Californication
13 Metallica: Master Of Puppets
14 Black Crowes: Shake Your Money Maker
15 Shihad: Killjoy
16 Chris Cornell: Unplugged in Sweden **
17 AC/DC: Live At River Plate ***
18 Linkin Park: Minutes To Midnight
19 Faithless: Sunday 8pm
20 Sublime: Sublime- Is an EP, other than an LP, but I still view it is as completely seperate album and worthy of it's spot. I'd probably have Opiate by Tool around here too, but I've viewed that more as an EP. This probably makes no sense to anybody ... but my list, my rule
** Never released as an album, but available for download on multiple places
*** Sort of cheating as a compilation, but I honestly think AC/DC sound so much better live than from the studio.
