Pant definitely changed his flights looking to get home today, seriously looks likely to get out every second ball

When Konstas tries stupid shit it's immaturity.

When Pant does it, he's a mad genius

Australian arsehole and ‘can’t say that it’s racist’ respectively

    Australia is racist
    DRS is racist
    The floor is racist

Get India early and we're a good shot at this - maybe 55%
If Bumrah can't bowl to his potential, a little higher
If India get a lead of 200 this gets difficult

My pre-match prediction of an Indian crumble is well wide of the mark.

    Been pretty gutsy.

Still expecting a fairly comfortable Aus win now with no or reduced Bumrah. But the bounce in this pitch is off the scale.

India's batting tactics make little sense here.

Would be better of following Pant's lead and having a swing instead of waiting for one with your name on it

Yes but do we know if Bumrah can bowl ?

He’ll need a Waqar/Wasim performance vs the Black Caps in the mid 90s if India are a chance here

That’s a shame, these two are revelling in the fact he’s not there. Scoring very quick

Missing this morning as I'm out and about.

Bumrah not bowling increases our chances quite significantly.

But can we stop and applaud Scott Boland for just a second? If he had played every same he might be fighting Bumrah for leading wicket taker

@NTA for me thats been one of a few missing pieces from the Indians not having a quality 3rd seamer , sure not having Bumrah available has’nt helped in this last innings bit i also suspect hes been over used because of not having a quality 3rd paceman

Lack of runs from some of their senior guys when it really mattered a bit more application and time the 4th could have been saved and another 100 runs would’nt have gone a miss in this test
Some crucial dropped catches along the way have’nt helped
I reckon Matt Henry would have been a tricky proposition on this track.
Fair play to the Aussies as much as its irks me to say

At times even their 2nd pace man has been absent.

Prasidh is doing an excellent job this test

Yeah but that’s nothing new. India have always been short of quality pacemen

    https://www.espncricinfo.com/story/bgt-2024-25-australia-head-coach-andrew-mcdonald-accuses-india-of-intimidating-sam-konstas-1467763

"It's clearly within the laws of the game, the rules and regulations. There's been no charges laid, but to have an opposition swarm the non-striker like that, we've got a duty of care to our player to make sure he's okay and in a headspace to go out there and perform."

LOL WTF is going on when adult Test players are considered by the coach to be that delicate?

@antipodean Konstas has clearly been given the role to go out and antagonise India, and based on the evidence you'd say he's ticking that box.

Lot of accusations flying around about who is in the face of whom, but it makes good theatre.

I see it as no different to Steve Waugh's "mental disintegration" tactic - for either side.

McDonald should probably just sit back and enjoy coaching such generational talent in terms of his bowling lineup, and let thse through to the keeper.

Steve Smith left stranded on 9999 career runs……

He’s probably slightly past it now. I reckon they should drop him.
