Really fucking good. Great to see it on the big screen again. When you watch the first 2 and clone wars in prep the last 3rd is sad as fuck.
Yes the dialogue at times is clunky (deadset how did George talk to his wife?) But the visuals are amazing, the music is incredible.
I honestly believe it's better than Return of the Jedi

I liked it but the tone seemed a bit off to me, the weighty drama feel of it didn't quite mesh with the all out Indo style action (a genre I love), some of which is awesome.
I really want to see The Raid 3 but Evans seems to be a West only filmmaker these days. Although I just found out the other day that Timo Tjahjanto (director of The Night Comes for Us - which is my favourite Indo action film) has a new film on Netflix that came out last year.
Also watched:
Sinners: Another horror style movie, but it's much more than that, it's also a music film, and a 1920/30s gangster film. In all honesty I would have preferred a straight 1920/1930s gangster film set in this world, but I still had a great time watching this. Stars Michael B Jordan (twice), Jack O'Connell, Delroy Lindo, and Halee Steinfeld and a few actors I've never seen before.
Revenge of the Sith: Since it's being discussed, I'm glad for other people who like it (I think everyone should enjoy which ever Star Wars they like even if I don't like), it's still a shit movie to me, a disappointment when I first saw it in the cinema and a bigger disappointment when I rewatched it finally during Covid. Bad script, bad CGI, bad acting, bad directing, but as @mn5 also notes I didn't see it as a wide eyed kid which likely would have given me a different view of it.

Is better than ESB.
And attack of the clones is awful.
But other than that you're close.My RotJ memories are lining up, not getting in and having to go the next night.

Young Woman and the Sea
True story of American Trudy Ederle in her attempt to be the first woman to cross the English Channel in 1926.
Decent movie, with Daisy Ridley as Trudy, also starring Stephen Graham as Bill Burgess, an eccentric swimmer who had previously made the crossing himself in 1911.
Gots to say, I did get a bit emotional at the end when you saw how much it meant to so many, especially when it seems for the most part it was kept close enough to the truth.
3.5 pounds of seal fat out of 5 anti-nausea pills.

There won't be much of a war, we seem pretty consistent.
Rogue One is absolutely outstanding......but ponder the movies ranked above it. I can't legitimately bump one of them for it so 5th spot it is.
Attack of the Clones which @mariner4life had a go at is half shit ( love story, political mumbo jumbo, Anakin pissing round with his mother side story ) , half outstanding ( cool villains, great rapport between Obi Wan and Anakin, amazing battle sequences, lightsabre fights ) so is ranked about right. Massive flaws but massive upside too.
The Force Awakens is comfortably the best of the sequel trilogy and had heaps of promise which the next two pissed all over.
SOLO is good fun but not a genuinely brilliant movie and ultimately a bit pointless in the general scheme of the SW universe.

@Virgil I have only ever watched the first four star wars movies (by order of production). The first three were ok but massively over hyped. The fourth killed it for me. Lucas combined syrupy sappiness with fucking awful plots and characters Jar Jar Ewoks etc. Screaming piles of shit in the main.

Obviously had alot of media coverage for the wrong reasons, that I reckon has swayed some peoples view of it.
While it wasnt anything special, it was a decent enough watch.
3 wanted posters out of 5 it was a different world back then

Thunderbolts
Took the 12 year old to see this, and it was excellent, a lot better than some of the more recent Marvel stuff. I mean it's Marvel, so don't go in there expecting a work of art like Schindler's List, but this was much closer to some of the earlier stuff and was fun from start to finish. Loved Red Guardian, he was great value.
