@Mainlander Fuck, that last bit's absolutely shitty news. Thanks for popping back. I remember you being one of the funniest and sharpest posters on here in the mid-2000s.

@Mainlander Congratulations. Not seen you around these parts for a very long time. I hope you and family are doing well. Mainlander Jr must be all grown up.

    Been around just not posting.
Had to get Dulith to reset my password/Email.. Thanks taniwharugby & Kirwin for their help there as well.
The Kids are all in their 30 now, all but one ownes their own houses and all are in long terem relationships, makes me feel old.
ACT Crusader if you have anything to do with ACT Ambulance anytime you maybe dealing with Muss Jr, the rest are in Melbourne were we live now.
I've done my Job, and the Crusadrers have won, so as I said I can die happy.
Oblique I know but my Cancer has returned... Doc said 6 months (over 6 months ago) to 3 years, so just taking every victory as they come, just need the AB's to step up now.

You can post in the Happiness thread too... Thoroughly enjoy this victory mate, a long with all the other Saders posters. And continue to try and beat the odds

@Canes4life Reihana looked destined for big things when he was at St Kentigern College but just went from one injury to another and then he did’nt see lot of game time at the Chiefs because of ongoing injuries it was ironic when Luke Jacobson congratulated Rivez on his motm performance there was almost lament he was a chiefs man
Hoping Rivez will be named in the NZ Māori squad 😉

Actually I sorta found it funny, much to the families discust/horror. They wont me to stop making jokes about it.
I feel it's what would have made me a good Cannes/Chiefs supporter. Humor in adversity
Ive had a resonably good life so no complants and it beats dimentia which every other elder male family member seems to have developed.
Although the Wife thinks I may have that as well. She's never worked out it's just because I don't listen to her.

I think we've seen the end of calls for Stevenson to be an All Black based on that performance.

And Beaudy is now clear first choice 10.

I would still have DMac as first five. No his fault their front row wasn’t up to it.

I see those errors most weeks. The difference was the Crusaders set piece was so dominant the Chiefs didn’t have the attacking opportunities they usually do. Probably the missing thing in DMacs game was goal kicking - conversion wide out and a penalty from 45m. Small margins.

Will await to hear from any of the Ferners that were at the game, but I wonder what the conditions were doing with the kicking decisions. When the Saders turned down a couple of chances in the 2nd half and DMac had missed a couple in that first half, I just wonder if there was more to it.

Last game ther they have said. The plan as I understand it is for the Crusaders to have home games in in Nelson and elsewhere in exchange for the Super Round when the Pavlova opens in April.

Congratulations Saders fans, sounds like you guys deservedly won.

I didn't watch the game. Honestly speaking I just couldn't be bothered - the Chiefs already lost once this finals series and I lost interest then, I was pretty sure they'd lose tonight.

Instead, I spent the afternoon in the sea with my boy - he managed to get on his feet on his surfboard for the first time. Fantastic afternoon.

@Mainlander Nah we have also rolled the ole Lancaster Park/Jade/ Pounamu Stadium into the records, so the Pavlova gets added to Rugby League Park/No Heineken/Horncastle/Apollo's record.

Which is now sitting at 15.

@gt12 as a rugby spectacle it was a hard watch. As with most close games it had its drama.

    Congrats to your boy.

15 titles for the Crusaders, 15 for everyone else. Simply Unbelievable…

If you want to count the Covid titles then you have to count the winners of the Oz comp, the Trans Ta$man, and the Saffa covid comps in your everyone else as well.

In other words, it's silly to count the covid comps.

    Yahoo! Bloody brilliant!
Happy because I thought none of the Chiefs did their AB chances any harm, but the good guys won.
I wonder what the EB critics and Bones will say about Jordan, though. Some kind of laughable, weird perspective.
In defense of DMac, he was targeted, but his pack was on the backfoot. He is the man to lead the ABs.
The substitute Crusaders halfback though, FFS he was saved by his team mates. What a textbook way not to win a final few minutes. Wayne Smith would turn in his grave if dead.

Rivez Reihana should be in the All Blacks squad imo at some point this year.

Always rated him since he was at St Kentigern's.
