Bein support responded within 20 minutes, which is pretty good, unfortunately not with good news

    *Thanks for your email.

Unfortunately, we can't confirm the rights for the All Blacks Northern Tour for November.

I'll advise you to contact Foxtel directly for more information about these games.

For more scheduling information, please visit our TV Guide.

    Hope this helps.

    Kind Regards,

    Charlie*

Thanks dK - found it on their website. Sent very polite email.

At least they have an email.

I think you've got to tweet or facebook Foxtel ...

But hey - worth a crack

I assume the Bein TV guide is Sydney time (not Qld ... ) so 9am NZ kick off (according to AllBlacks.com) = 7am Seednee.

    It appears we have:
Napoli v Lazio in Serie A
Las Palmas v Eibar in La Liga
    Flamengo v Botafogo in Brasileirao

I understand their primary audience is likely to be catered for in the above but am not sure either of the 2nd or 3rd games would be expected to rate highly.

The above three games are followed by half hour magazine programs:
Bundesliga Special - The Best of October
    La Liga World
    Footbrazil

Then more Bundesliga: Bayern v Hoffenhein
EFl (not EPL): Burton v Barnsley
and more Brazil - Sao Paolo v Corinthans

It's definitely a soccer channel - fair enough - but it would be good if they could make it available somewhere/somehow.

    Where's that email address??

    Impossible booboo

All the coaches and pundits whinging and shrieking has produced a ratings explosion so surely there's money to be made in televising rugby.

We've been assured the incessant bleating this year is all about ratings yet there's still no coverage. What gives?

OK have politely tweeted @Foxtel and @Foxtel_Help. I feel so millennial ... I even used a hashtag (#NZLvIRE).

I have now made the grand total of 6 tweets ... apparently ...

    • three of which were trying to find out if Fox had footy games, which were ignored by Foxtel, or got Fox Sports muddled with Foxtel ...
    • three were around the CWC final
(- and err one which doesn't show publicising Mokey's book which I deleted because I got weirdos making inappropriate suggestions as a result ... )

@scribe Awesome - thanks for that. Now to find a pub which will actually show it instead of replays of some 3rd division soccer.

Anyone know which hotel ABs are staying in?

99% sure they stayed at the Hyatt Regency in 2014. Was in Chicago for the game in 2014 and saw Richie in close proximity. Lobby full of rugby heads.

Good chance they stay there again I would think.

Fuck it. All the other rugby has been on Skysport so that's the one I subscribe to. BT sport is endless Wendyball.

Yeah, its fucking ridiculous, used to be Sky covered everything, now to give the consumer more choice fricking BT has a stack of random stuff, they have the Aussie v SA cricket series too. Its one of the best example of how legislation designed to help consumers has fucked them very hard indeed due to retards drafting it. Can you get one service for just soccer? Nope? Rugby? Nope. Cricket? Nope!

It's more of the continuing attempts by BT sports to disrupt Sky coverage and dominance in the rugby market. They outbid them for the Aviva Premiership. They split the European Cup coverage which is a real pain in the ass trying to watch it at weekends. EirSport in Ireland bought Setanta (an Irish company) and then bid successfully for the RWC 2019, and the Six Nations. So now coverage is all over the place on different channels.

I've found a pub that says it will show it apparently because there's no bloody soccer on at 8pm on a Saturday worth showing.

@Crucial On second thoughts, I'm wondering where @Kruse is from. As you and I are both from or recently lived in Welly, it could be Hansen at it again.

    mention of BOD nearly dying
A manatee thrashwank about the refs favouring the abs
    Three mentions of the aura
    An accusation of arrogance
    Two mentions of poaching
A mention of "south seas islanders" the only time I ever see this term is when a nh writer/troll is making a cock of himself.
A diatribe about a transgression from the abs that went unpunished
A fuckwitted tweet from Brian Moore.

A culmination of many things - I left Ireland at the age of 12, never to return apart from necessity and work
. My Mum left it in 1939 and couldn't return for over 30 years because she, staunch RC from Waterford had the temerity to marry an Anglican. So yeah I am pretty predisposed to count Ireland as a regressive environment.
Christ yes...I got very tired of having to run to school between barricades in 72-75 (Belfast). I also got really tired of the intransigence of the Daíl in recognising the many thousands of Irish volunteers who served in the UK armed forces during ww2. And don't get me started on de Valera and his vomitus condolences to Dönitz on the death of AH. I could say even more about the abrogation of duty of Irish peacekeepers on UN duty over the years having seen the results at first hand.

@Bones - where I'm from, we switch allegiances to whoever's winning anyway. If the Highlanders had managed to put together a winning streak, you'd have seen the next generation of Barretts playing for them in a few years, as Taranaki somehow justified being in their catchment area.
Anyway - I've managed to find an easily swayed paddy bar manager - promising to play the game at the Heron in Paddington, if I wear an Ireland shirt.
    Like fuck.

I hope Trump isn't in the headlines next year ,but really they need to be the repetitive trolls we see year after year. 2, 3, and 5 would do. You'd need to add in a mention of Munster to round that out though.
