@Rancid-Schnitzel Panama is shit? mother fucker i swear to god...
Were they playing that when you had dildo in gob? Fond memories?
I didn't need good music to make that any more awesome

I try to avoid the sort of places where I might hear the music of Pink , by Christ everything I've heard of hers is awful though.
Also that wretched song from a chick called Kei$ha where she goes on about partying.
Lady Gaga belongs very much in the same catagory , I posted a link to a Bill Burr review of her concert. She emerges from the vagina of a massive inflatable turkey and then proceeds to perform what described as " gay Spinal tap". -

Lightning Crashes. Fucken terrible song.
I can only like that once unfortunately. They did a song with some bullshit about hearing dolphins crying, sounded like poetry a fifth form goth would write when they weren't cutting them self .

Just to keep it local, I have a lot of time for Dave Dobbyn, hate hate hated DD Smash. That piston wristed gibbon who played drums, Rooter or whatever his name was - I refuse to google it cause I just know he's the type of drittsekk that cares about these things - irritated me no end.
That is all, as you were.
Drittsekk? Snakker du norsk?
No, but it's my fave insult. Many years ago theNorwegian PM called John Major it and I was so awestruck by the accuracy and humour I forgot to be offended by the lack of diplomacy. A top drawer putdown if ever there was one. Have they got any more that good?

I liked the @Rancid-Schnitzel post because he summed up my intense dislike for Coldplay (a cure for insomnia) and Nirvana.
AND then he disses Van Halen. Can I unlike?
I don't listen to the radio much so avoid today's crap music. But if an Oasis song comes on I'll turn the fuckin' thing off!

oooohhhh Oasis, great shout. Another 90s "rock" staple. I have never understood how they got so big.

I fucking love Metallica, but this is unmitigated shit
And what the fuck were they thinking making, and then having seen it, releasing this?
"we're the biggest metal band on the planet. Lets release a movie of us being whiney entitled bitches being bossed around by a nerd wearing a jersey knitted by his nana"
"fuck Lars, that's a great idea, how much money will it make?"
"all of it. And, it'll also show we no longer know how to write songs, we'll just throw shit in to a computer and see what comes out"
"perfect. although, if people listen to our album, they will have already guessed that"How do you go from "A year and a half in the life of Metallica" to that?

Sorry about that. But they do have 3 very good songs and EVH playing keyboards with his guitar around his neck is pretty damn cool.

Which PM was that? They've had a few drittsekks themselves.
There are some other good ones (particularly from the North) but my personal favourite is hestkuk (horse cock).

@Rancid-Schnitzel I could recommend plenty of better VH songs off the first 4 albums which aren't "hits" to the casual fan.
In line with this thread, Jump would be my least favourite song on 1984.

Great post M4L, totally accurate. Amazing how guys who are in a metal band can be such a bunch of girls. Totally goes against the image.
The best part if the bass auditions. Watching all those guys suck shit and then having Trujillo come in and blow their heads off.

no mention of everyones favorite band to hate, Nickelback?

Or U2!
I'll admit that I've got most of their early albums lying somewhere about the place (vinyl with nothing to play them on). On reflection, "two hearts beat as one" fits this thread as poppy shit. I think I'd still quite like a lot of it.
They lost me at Rattle and Hum, though Achtung Baby had a couple of good songs. I think I listened to Zooropa once and hated it and I haven't listened to anything since.
