New Zealand already has a 24 test win record, just not the All Blacks. Apparently, the Black Ferns had a 24 test winning streak from 2002 to 2009.

Interesting all of a sudden how the Mighty Moufflon's efforts seem more meritorious than they did last year ...
To be fair it's a fair effort. Only really Uruguay and Fiji outside of 6 Nations, SA and Aus.
I don't buy into the argument that they haven't played us. We didn't play the number one ranked team either.

Now they've equaled our streak, it is possible to compare the world ranking of the opposition at the time of each game, to determine whose streak is "better".
The sum world ranking of the 18 teams we defeated is 120. England's is 131.
So our streak was vs significantly better opposition on average - as I tell my dickhead pom mates who keep bringing up the fact we played Namibia/Georgia during ours, and conveniently forgetting they played Uruguay during theirs.

In other (rather embarrassing) news, South Africa is now ranked 7th, the lowest since the ranking system was implemented in 03.
Coetzee is bullish on the Boks chances since this year, he's had time to plan where they are going to be training, and how their bags are being transported:
"I'm done with the planning. The logistical planning of where we're flying with which airlines we're using and where we're staying ... that's done," Coetzee said, adding that he even knows where the Boks are training on their European tour in November.
I think that is the job description of a logistics manager, but that's just me..

@RaGe_X And to think - with Argentina playing a Lions-less-England, and SA playing France... it's not unlikely you could drop to 9th.
Too late for the WC draw, luckily - but still... not cool.
It's actually not too difficult to come up with a reasonably-realistic scenario of results where SA sinks to 10th... which would be fucking sad for the entire "rugby world".
