@Kirwan I think this calls for a trip to Wellington as we were the obvious good luck charm back in 2010 🙂

Truly excited but not expectant for these two legs. If Peru beat us at home, it is all over Mary, wipe ya leg!

We need Wood and Reid to be fit to stand any chance.

Reasonable Ticket Prices, starting at $59.

If you haven't been to a football game and have a mild interest, I urge you to go to this game if you're in the area, it is a fun atmosphere wuite different to Rugby. Kind of funnier, if you will.

I went in 2010 and it was one of the most enjoyable sprting events I have been to.

Agree about the atmosphere, was one of the best crowds I've ever been in.

Yeah as a non soccer fan who went to get behind the lads it was amazing. We got late extra seating tickets about 2 rows back on half way. Shirts off with 10 to go. Haven't been to an atmosphere as good (although state of O at suncorp was awesome....and hopefully the ABs this weekend there will be to)

I'm going down to the game again. We might even be sitting in a similar position to where we were in 2010.

This is the most excited I've been about a game of soccer since 2010.

    Bring it on.

Wood is not starting. He's on the bench. That's not great.

    No one else watching?

Seems our go to strategy is to hoof the ball downfield and hope.

The beauty of Soccer is anything can happen on the day. We'll need to ride our luck a fair bit and hope for something tinny at their end of the field.

Mildly annoyed that this overlaps with the Kiwis vs Tonga - comon NZ sort out your sports scheduling.

Good passage of play from the All Whites, Peru showing some frustration early.

Meanwhile 30,000 plus spectators are sitting there thinking ‘oh this is what we never go to football games..’

0-0 at the half is a great result so far, the deeper we take it the more frustrated Peru will get.

Wood is a big loss, he is exactly the guy we need to pull something off - he'll probably get a run late in the game if it's still in the balance.

We were odds on to score then after the keeper parried the shot, but a butterfly hit one of the Peru players knocking him down.
