Fucking hell.
I’m so ready to change from my Mac, but I’m pretty locked in (photos etc) so it would take me a week to get everything sorted again.
All of these updates make my computer worse nowadays. It’s fucking terrible how much that company has gone to the dogs.
I've just started a new job that only has PCs - I want to throw the fucking thing out the window. Forever updating, and I mean forever updating, and despite being a new machine running Windows 10 it has hissy fits when I have too many PDFs and Word docs open. Plus, I'm used to Word on a Mac now so it just annoys me on PC.
That’s not normal, just FYI.

I thought it was, because one of my work mates from my previous job just started a new job where they have PCs and the same thing happened with her so I just assumed it was a thing.

The updates thing, maybe. But even then only if your IT takes everything as it comes.
Microsoft in the past few years has actually got its act together.

no a question, but something awesome
RFC2322 is something real

Not really a tech question but tech related.
Anyone know about selling an Instagram handle?
Years ago I set up one with my username on here which I forgot about. I have people emailing me wanting to buy it. Someone has been trying to get into it for a while and has even emailed me my password to show they have cracked it but can’t access because they can’t get the verification codes.
Obviously I have changed the password but would consider selling as I don’t even use it.
I had a look at who is following the empty account and the vast majority fall into either trying to follow a US sauce company or the memory component company. The possible buyer could be someone else entirely but I am interested in ideas on how to play this
Ferner advice welcome -
@antipodean Yeah, this is a colossal fuck up from Intel.
Not looking forward to my computer running 5% slower.

With AusPost you don't have to worry about break ins, you do need plan to go pick up your parcel from the post shop because despite you being home every day for a week the AusPost deliverer never actually rings your doorbell, instead, they leave you multiple cards in weird places that you don't find to a week later. Or if you get it sent to your work place, they'll either send it to an office on a marginally similarly named street, but with a completely different name, or they'll give it to some random person standing outside the office doors (I actually watched this happen from a window - not one of my packages thankfully).

@nepia anyone can send. Its not a PO Box where you pay for an exclusive spot either. Basically its a modular setup where you get a txt + email and you log in using the 6 digit code and your mobile number.
Different sized boxes to handle different sized packages. The one assigned to you pops open, and voila! Package.
Great thing is you can collect out of hours.
