Blues champions. Yeah the boys.
Nice to have some silverware. Carlos comes back and they win a title - boom.
Canes played that final smartly. Blues not surprsingly finished the stronger.
Didnt seem to be the injury toll of last year for any of the teams.

Blues, Clan, Tahds, Rabble, Brumbles, Bulls, Stormers, ...Add the reds to that list now too. Even they had more blue than red and they are named after the bloody colour.

The guy sitting by himself on the park bench looks an ideal candidate to start for the team at first five. Certainly rather ponderous in sizing up his options and definitely not looking for support before taking somewhat belated action. Wonder if they managed to sign him up to a contract in the aftermath.

On trackside radio on Saturday morning, Nisbo tipped the Blues to win and took the $7 himself.

Also had Blues to win as an outright bet.
Played totals for much of the tournament and found them pretty low to be honest - 26.5 to 28.5point range most of the time. Did pretty well generally taking overs for any game where it was an NZ team vs anyone else and then unders for NZ vs NZ games

The Brisbane Global Rugby Tens has been canned for 2019 because of the likely high restriction of players' availability ahead of the Rugby World Cup in Japan next year.
