Nonsense. You’ve never watched Ireland in a RWC quarterfinal. 😏

Eddie Jones likens Bastareaud to 130kg hybrid of two Wallaby and All Black greats

Eddie Jones likens Bastareaud to 130kg hybrid of two Wallaby and All Black greats

Eddie Jones believes Mathieu Bastareaud is a potent combination of Wallaby great George Smith and All Black star Sonny Bill Williams and admits shackling the controversial French centre will be one of England’s main problems in Paris on Saturday.

I'm picking a good old fashioned gallant Scotland loss.

Can't wait until he loses at the RWC and returns to Straya so we get more regular quotes from him.

PS: quite why Straya would see someone who has just failed with the most well resourced team in the world as their potential saviour is beyond me though.

Admittedly the loss to the Scots was hard to bear but two losses in 26 games is hardly failure - even in AB terms.

I meant if he actions his out clause if England fail to win the RWC. He has been given carte blanche, a virtually an unlimited budget and has the world's biggest player pool to draw on. If he can't win a WC under those conditions how do they think he can operate with no money and a small player pool?

Best result so far of the Six Nations weekend.

    U-20s
    Wales 7-18 Italy.

The Azurri U20s have a few handy players coming through.

Ireland ahead 14-3 at half time.

Scotland running up their own arses like they did against Wales.

If Ireland are patient, Scotland will hand themba handsome win.

Well summed up. Scotland probably playing better than they did against Wales but butchering chances and throwing balls to the opposition for tries won’t win you a game

As I wrote that post Scotland managed to finally get across the line
    21-8 to Oirland.
Now if the green team can get a BP win out of this even more pressure comes onto England

    Full time

Ireland 28-8. Seanie Cronin with the BP try.
    Good game.
Next up England in their lair. Should be interesting.

That French 7 is a unit and a half! Looks about the size of BBBR.

Wheels completely coming off the chariot tonight ...

Down 16-9 against a fired up French side, zero chance of them getting the full house of points unless something drastic changes. Still 30 to go though, so fat lady hasn't sung .... but she's having her pre concert snack.

England don't look any better than they did against the Jocks ... which is what happens when you don't make fuck all changes!

Eddie changes half the team with 10 to go and suddenly England look good with the ball in hand, and score to only be 3 points behind.

    Funny that.
