Indeed .. before that 5m scrum the comms were wanking on about which of the backs to go to, but they forgot about the Christie factor. Given his year surely the play was to Lam 1-1 against Duffie ... but instead Christie throws it a metre behind Beauden.

SBW looks sharp. Rieko more prominent than Lam so far. Leger making a good fist of 13. Blues kicks in behind are nice to see.
Agree Christie looks a bit loose. England will be hoping Shields plays better than this.

Blues hanging in and Canes not firing at the moment. We've not played well at times this season despite winning most games. Hopefully tonight our luck doesn't run out. We don't win often at Eden Park, the guy that put 100k on a 13+ canes win should be feeling justifiably nervous right now
