That's just the beta alanine MN5. Its not a bad thing.

And yeah wasn't trying to take a gung ho stance, just really puzzled why someone would take double to recommended dose as a test of the product. If a user doesnt read the directions to start off with 1/2 to 1 serving then its unlikely they were read the ingredients either. Agree it would be shit house to get pulled up or lose a job due to coming up positive for a substance you never knew you were using. That simply isn't on and its exactly what happened to Jesse Ryder.

Creatine is still probably the number 1 supplement out. It's got a history of proven results when it comes to assisting with lean muscle gain.

Proteins the other big one but you can get sufficient protein from your diet if its well planned enough.

Pre workouts are nice but not required. Good way of making sure you really push yourself in your workouts but a strong coffee will get you most the way there for a fraction of the price. I like pre workouts though. Just don't become reliant on them.

Yeah I make sure I cycle through using detonate - it does make a difference in workout intensity. Just have to make sure you stay hydrated.

I went off the other pre-workouts a bit, found I was getting a bit bloated. But SuperPump was definitely the supp I had the best results from. Can't remember the name but one sample JK sent me was gnarly! No way you could take it and NOT lift weights. You'd be benching workmates or randoms on the street!

Also good to check how you hit your max weights without any pre-workout as well. Helps you scope how much boost you get from them I reckon. Plus it's awesome when you see clear improvement lifting 'clean' rather than on a pre-workout.

I think that was probably hyper fx mate. The blue fizzy one. Still my number 1 but only use it on leg day

Yeah that shiz had my number bro. I was getting almost too amped to lift, and a bit distracted. But you know it's a guaranteed workout once you have it.

Detonate is pretty close in terms of buzz. But I get way more focused which is good for training tempo.

Forget Fluoride, just whack some hyper fx in the water supply and watch the obesity crisis melt away!

Good deal on today at http://www.nutritiondeal.co.nz/ for hyper fx, superpump max and SuperDrive. All of which are very decent pre workouts

OT a little: walked into the local supermarket this morning, and the protein powder that usually sells for $22 was down to $5.50! Grabbed three of them and will start applying after workouts. Think i may have ripped them off on reflection, as the flavours I got were chocolate and 2 x vanilla. Maybe only one was on special :good: I actually work for their competition so suck it, Coles.
