Olympus has Fallen; typical action film where 1 man can take on an army and win, at around 2 hours, a bit long for this genre IMO, but still, shooting, fighting, explosions, secret weapons....

White House Down - practically identical storyline, along with OTT action scenes with fighting, guns explosions and shit, sweet, of also similar criticism, a bit long for this genre at 2.11!

No boobs though M4L, in fact eye candy was all but non-existant!

I thought White House Down was about 10 times better than Olympus Has Fallen. The OTT action scenes seemed a little bit more grounded - it seemed a bit more realistic how the terrorists took over. In OHF I laughed my ass off at every action scene, I only laughed at a couple in WHD.

True, there was no eye candy in WHD unless you find Maggie Gyllenhal really attractive ... and I don't. The mum was ok but not in it enough.

I watched Stand Up Guys with Al Pacino, Alan Arkin and Christopher Walken last night. Ok switch your brain off movie with Pacino coming out of prison and the three getting up to hijinks over one night. For all the boobie watchers there is a cute waitress in it who I looked up on IMDB and discovered she is in Californication frequently shows her cracking set of boobies. Her name is Addison Timlin. There you go boys, look her up.

Holy shit this movie sounds amazing.

Sky Riders (1976)

Robert Culp plays Bracken, whose life seems perfect until his wife Ellen and their children are kidnapped by terrorists one day. After failed attempts to capture them back by the police, Ellen's ex husband enters the fray and plans his own rescue attempt. James Coburn plays McCabe, Ellen's ex-husband who hires a crew of professional hang gliders to help him rescue her and the kids from the terrorist's mountain top lair.

After Porn Ends - Doco that views the lives of several former pornstars. Not much porn in it but plenty of boobs for M4L. Typical depressing stuff - born again Christians, homeless, addicts, cancer, can't maintain a relationship.... although a few were happy including one who is now a bounty hunter. 5/10

Everyone knows hang gliders are a bunch of bad asses
Always been a fan of Robert Culp due to Greatest American Hero and the fact he was good mates with Hugh Heifner.

Watched 2 Guns last night, with Denzel and Wahlberg, I quite liked it, just a good action film with a few one liners.

About a nanosecond after you entered puberty I'm guessing. Have you seen flight yet?

The Worlds End - the final in the Cornetto trilogy (Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz). Was ok, but TBH I was a bit disappointed. I would have preferred a straight movie about the guys recreating a pub crawl when they were younger instead of the 'end of the world scenario' as when it was a straight movie it was bloody funny.

Internship or whatever its called with Vaughen and Wilson. Pretty crap and far too long. Basically a 2 hour Google ad.

The Goonies. Sat down and watched this with my boys. What a little pearler of a film. Loved it as a kid and it certainly has stood the test of time. Wonder if they'll ever do a remake of this.

I've been introducing TR Jnr to alot of the classics like The Goonies (I havent watched for a couple of years, but he watched it again on the weekend) Star Wars (in the right order) Indiana JOnes (Not the newest one) etc

Hope they dont do a remake, the original still holds up pretty well against alot of modern day films, some things are best left un-hollywoodenised!

They probably will, but they shouldn't.

Still support a sequel to The Last StarFighter however.

How I live Now; about a teenager sent to live with her Aunt and cousins in rural UK (from the US) and only days after arriving War breaks out in the UK. Some good acting (the young Irish? girl from the Lovely Bones) decent enough story, but not quite what I expected.

am guessing by that question, it likely differs from your view, but mine is the order that they were made.

I'd probably go with that as well. Luckily I never had to answer the question as I introduced my son to the first three before the latter three were released.

Then there are the other ideas ( http://static.nomachetejuggling.com/machete_order.html ). In a way I agree with the machete order although no matter how crap Ep1 is is does seem a pity to lose it.

The To Do List: A weird comedy starring Aubrey Plaza from Parks and Rec as a nerdy girl who is about to head off to College (uni) and is a virgin and comes up with a list of things to do sex-wise before she goes. It was quite dirty in parts but no nudity that I can remember (sorry M4L).

It had lots of TV actors playing small roles in it including Troy from Community, Mrs Coach from Friday Night Lights, the quarterback who was paralysed in FNL, Agent Caulson from SHIELD etc.

It's set in 1993 so fits perfectly with my life cycle!

Also watched Pacific Rim and was extremely disappointed.
