@mokey both my kids are always like 'Dad they spelled our name wrong'...'get used to it kids, happened to me all my life'

I dont get wound up, but is annoying given there are a few ways to spell it, they always assume the wrong way.

Whats worse is TR Jnr and his cousin were in the school production a month ago, they spelled her surname (the same surname) right and his wrong haha

My ancestors who emigrated from desert land to fucking Mosgiel even changed the name to make it easy. Although most likely because it just sounded like angry swearing.
