Phil Kearns, Tony Johnson, Stuart Barnes - really sorry but your whiniest and most biased commentator crown has been taken by whatever group of fools where commentating on the BeIn broadcast today.

It was like they took all of the main whines from the negative newspaper articles from the week and then played bingo. If it was alcoholic bingo they would have all been off their face 10 minutes into the match.

Basically whenever an AB moved or breathed they were doing something illegal or cynical according to the commentating team.

I actually stopped being annoyed about it after a while and just listened to it for a comedy value.

If I ever rewatch (I wont) I'd keep an ear out for that.

    My god they were atrocious.

The play-by-play chap was marginally better than the comments man. At one point he said something about Read winning 100 tests and what an achievement that was and the comments guy sounded audibly disgruntled that a positive comment was made about an AB.

I genuinely haven't heard commentators call for penalties on the air before.

Still sounds like better entertainment than listening to Nisbo being as undynamic and boring as ever

@rotated pretty sure comments guy was Heaslip. Which might explain it.

Was at a lunch where Marshall spoke before match. Looks as though he's sunk a lot of turps this week.

We must have had different on Channel 4 in the UK.

Normally, I can't stand the Irish comms. Want a yellow card every single time somebody farts. But they were ok, although they did go on a bit about the AB's giving away uncharacteristic penalties quite a lot.

@majorrage nah, Heaslip was dire. Main comments guy was mostly ok, but was one-eyed anytime there was in infringement. Imagine if Kearney had been taken out by Barrett in the same manner. They both would've been calling for a prison sentence.

Mrs Meldrew asked me to turn the commentary off - and she wasn't watching

So bad they made Miles ."England know that can win this" Harrison and Jonathan "Space out wide" Davies sound good.

Even on rugbypass's 10 minute "condensed" version I had to turn the sound off.

It was very funny, very much up with Ozzie commentating bias and fanboi-ism.
