No it is all to do with media bias. Every single republican president or republican presidential candidate is evil and stupid. Once they are no longer a threat, they are treated fairly.
What is amazing is the retards in the world who keep falling for the propoganda. Look at how Trump is treated despite doing a great job in every way that matters
Not just the Presidents who are stupid and evil...apparently...

@realDonaldTrump
Mike Pompeo is doing a great job, I am very proud of him. His predecessor, Rex Tillerson, didn’t have the mental capacity needed. He was dumb as a rock and I couldn’t get rid of him fast enough. He was lazy as hell. Now it is a whole new ballgame, great spirit at State!70.6K

Even for Trump that is ridiculously petty. It's one thing to punch back or not take things lying down but that is just childish.
I doubt it would be much fun working for Trump. By all accounts the fucker hardly ever sleeps and I'll bet he expects everyone else to keep the same schedule.

Stupid and petty tweet, not Trumps finest moment.
Tillerson is also a pompous twat with his comments that prompted the tweet though. -
Sure-fire way to lose the suburban white women soccer mom vote.
If he was able to rein this in (he can't or won't) and play up some PC bullshit for show, he'd get a few more of those who think style is more important than substance to support him.

Thanks for that . Jimmy Carter was similarly the butt of jokes and derision for years and his foundation effectively eradicated hookworm in Africa too.
Thanks, I'll read that.
The more you read, the more you realise what Bush achieved in Africa was staggering. How he achieved it - by out-of-the-box thinking which challenged assumptions that Africans wouldn't take drugs, by using every channel possible to get the drugs to the people that needed them and paying licence fees so African pharma companies could make HIV drugs cheaply - was stunning.
Hard to believe Obama and the Democrats tried to kill the program on the basis that the groups distributing the drugs were Christian aid groups who opposed gay marriage.... (yes, really)
You bringing up gay marriage reminded me of this

That tweet kinda sums up what I feel about Trump.
He may be right about things (what he's achieved with Nth Korea and in trade, forcing the EU and China to be less protectionist, is impressive) but the way he goes about things is petty and cringe-worthy.
Still, while the media and rich Hollywood celebs rail & rant hysterically about the man rather than attack his policies, he's getting a free ride.

Free ride???
How on earth is he getting a free ride??? -

How on earth is he getting a free ride???His policies are. His opponents are more interested in competing with each other to see who can be the most outraged at Trump rather than engage in any sensible political debate with the electorate
They're playing his game and seem too thick to see it. Dumber than dumb

That is just blatant nonsense. Every single one of his policies are scrutinised and attacked. Do you have any specific examples of his policies that have gotten a 'free ride'?
Look at his border policies.. even when doing exactly the same as Obama, he gets lambasted and Obama got.. nothing.
His policies over the Paris accord,we were told he was literally killing the country.
Those are just a couple of examples that demonstrate the exact opposite f what you are saying.But if you would care to provide some examples of his policies getting a free ride, I would love to hear them

Precisely the point I'm making. His opponents engage in anti-Trump hyperbole rather than critique or reasoned debate of the issues. He exits the Paris accord, calls his opponents losers and they respond with more anti-Trump hyperbole and outrage (inc. attacking Trump voters). Meanwhile he's achieved his policy goal and his opponents look deranged.
It may be unedifying, but equally, it may well be a pretty clever strategy.

@victor-meldrew
Or do they not criticize his policies as much as him because his policies are pretty good? -

God help trump if his opponents ever start charging him rent for the space he’s taking up in their heads . -

Personally, I think it would be good to actually have them examined, rather than being subjected to shrill hysteria.
I'm no great fan of the man, but he does seem to be far more effective than Obama, who seemed more interested in the thorny issue of transgender toilets than, say, the use of chemical weapons against civilians in Syria

I'm quite sure that if Trump discovered a cure for cancer his opponents would attack him for putting Oncologists out of work

Equally if he solved world hunger he’d be responsible for an obesity epidemic.

Say what you want about Trump as president, if the national cricket team captain tossed a coin like that I would want him sacked.
What was wrong with that?
I can guess though.. it was Trump...
