It was pretty epic. Just too dark. I get it's the long night but it makes for hard viewing.
A lot of people complaining about that but for me it was perfect. Go anywhere without light pollution, on a cloudy night and a new moon. It's dark as balls. Hint for the Night's Watch; artillery firing illum rounds.

Arya, you just get better and better.

Think it’s idea to keep it spoiler free here till after the 8.30 screening tonight?
After that fair game?I think if you are in a thread called GOT - there will be spoilers before you have seen it then you get what you deserve really.

That move by Arya was just perfect, whoever.choregraphed that.... take a bow. Best I have seen on the screen. Arya is just great.
Amazed the Winter king arc finished this epidode...and sooooo many chars lived.
Great episode. -
Well fuck me sideways.....just finished watching it and Ayra comes through with the three-point shot at the end to win the game. So does that mean she was Azor Ahai or is that still Jon Snow?

Fuck me, I watched on neon, not at all what I expected. This is not a spoiler, I dunt think but
:::it was so annoying that all the named characters that died had to die heroically. Really the should have been one or two, that just died in the battle. Fighting, got killed, that's totally war:::
Phew spoiler tags worked, what an episode!

Ok spoiling, its great how everyone has been concentrating on the war against the dead. There will be some major back stabbing and shit now! Stand by for backstabbing, skullduggery, and politics.
But who would have thought Night King dead, more than half the season to go? It's a little bit LotR, with yay Sauron defeated, now we have to clean out the Shire. Cersuman
Also RIP Ghost edit oh not he's in the preview

I'm gonna say this: I'm a bit disappointed in the Night King storyline and that will be the vibe over the next few days for most people.
For a character who brought so much curiousity as to his back story and what his ultimate goal was, for him to go down in his first battle beyond the wall is a bit of a let down.
Kudos to Ayra though, that makes it more cooler than just Jon Snow killing him off.

@Sneakdefreak yeah I like it cos I'm convinced there will be so much more to it, like prophecies, warging, extra plot lines, etc, in the books - and it's not spoiled!
-
@Baron-Silas-Greenback was a callback to her fight with Brianne where she did the same thing. Mr Sarcasm

Yeah I did think once the credits rolled that maybe the show runners chose to leave that for the author to explain. Or it would have cost too much for an already massive budget.

The show just put up a longer fight than the battle of helms deep, with some amazing cinematography, and this is a TV show. Yet people still complain.
I doubt there is any resolution that will keep people happy with what’s been built up in their imagination.
I enjoyed the hell out of that episode.
Ayra’s Nobody storyline paying off big time.
