It wasn't as bad as the other two but it was still bad.

Nightcrawler: Was pleasantly surprised by this film. Jake Gllynhoweveryouspellhisname puts in an amazing performance. His character reminded me of several people I've worked alongside and the story doesn't go the way you expect it to. 9/10

Devil: Bunch of people trapped in an elevator and you can guess who is among them. Like cluedo for religious people. It is a M.Night Shalalala movie but if you treat it as a b-grade horror flick it isn't that bad.

Unfinished business. Good, easy watch with some laughs. The wheelbarrow will never be the same.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice - Comic-Con Trailer [HD]

Why in the name of Buddha did they make Ben Affleck Batman? I'm still pissed off with that prick for Mallrats and Pearl Harbour and Reindeer Games and Jersey Girl and Gone Girl and probably every other film I've been unfortunate enough to see with that "actor". I believe his directorial efforts are better, but I can't comment on that. Hopefully Superman kills him.

I think he makes an excellent Bruce Wayne and Batman. Just forget everything you hate and you will see :)

Furious Seven - usual suspects, plus Kurt Russell, Djimon Hounsou, Jason Statham and the oh so hot Nathalie Emmanuel (think she is one of Nepia's faves)

I liked it, plenty of BS crashes, car chases and explosions, lots of fighting, all you need is some nekidness...just a big action film with lotsa car chases in awesome cars than a movie about cars and illegal street racing.

Thought the end was a nice nod to Paul Walker too.

    That Sugar Film.
Quite entertaining and educational even if the main guy is a bit of a gimp. Sort of like Supersize Me, but he instead eats heaps of those sugar-filled "health foods". What annoys me about films like this is that there is no personal accountability. Apparently people are forced by "corporations" to eat all this shit. The 99% fat free, sugar bomb "health" products are a worry though.

B grade movie week (or so);

Dark Rising Watchtower: Zombie film where there is a cure for the disease, managed by medication, but after a dud batch a break out of the disease...5/10

In this, Zombies have a bit more thoughts, able to use weapons

Darkest Day: Another Zombie film, Brit one this time, a young guy wakes on a beach and goes in search of other uninfected folk. 5/10

In this, Zombies can run fast!

Supremacy: Not a Zombie film. a member of the Arian Brotherhood who has just been paroled, one thing leads to another and within 24 hours he has taken a black family hostage. Suopposedly based on a true story, but always skeptical of these as to how much is true. 6/10

On the Zombie films, with the advent of these new age Zombies with brains and the ability to move at a pace more than an injured walk, I will need to re-think my strategy for a Zombie apocolypse, still think my site is sweet, but will need some tweaking now!

Sharknado. The most batshit crazy film I've ever seen. You have to admire how they ignore all logic, science, nature, human dialogue, continuity etc.

Love & Mercy. Biopic of Brian Wilson with Paul Dano playing him in his 20s and John Cusack in his 40s. The story is how he became mentally ill when he was making Pet Sounds and fell under the control of his psychiatrist played by Paul Giamatti with implausibly shaggy hair. The lovely Elizabeth Banks plays the love interest. A heartbreaking and at times worrying story with absolutely top notch acting.

Will check it out! Sounds great.

Been introducing Mrs gt12 to NZ movies - whale rider, darkhorse (which was epic), once were Warriors, and boy. Anything big I've missed?
