I trust Kane's pacing of it. The pitch looks a bit two paced and a new batsman is going to spend an over or two to get his eye in. I'd rather bank 80 odd in the last 10 overs cruising than shoot for 120 and risk getting 60 odd.

edit: Latham reverse sweeps the first ball of the last 10 overs, so it looks like they are going for the 120 odd.

About 20 short of par imo. If the Windies are in the mood, they will get it easily, but then again they are also known for collapsing every now and again.

The pitch required application from the batsman and the West Indies will be batting so...

Not sure that was a 290 pitch against that quality bowling, certainly wasn't two down for nothing.
