I'm with @nzzp not a fan. Needs the white collar to resemble a rugby jersey, these jerseys just look like any old sporting top, especially soccer.

And did I read it was Kiwi and Japanese inspired but I'm struggling to see anything that looks like it's been inspired by Japan or anything Japanese?

Do like the training jersey however so I might pick up one of those.

BTW, anyone think Rieko's giving his johnson a fondle in that pick with ALB?

We went without a white collar for a long time before it came back around 2011?

I have one from 2005 Centenary game against the Welsh in Cardiff. But I don't like it nearly as much as those with a white collar

+1 It does look good. I have a draw full of supporter gear I don't wear and white is more ubiquitous.

I have the 2011 and 2015 RWC jerseys. I much prefer the white collar adorned 2011 model. It's got old school proper embroidery too

I have never bothered to buy any of the new AB jerseys and still wear my 1997 CCC jersey with the Steinlager logo and white collar. Made in NZ too.

I did buy a black Adidas jersey for the 1999 Blackout test at Eden Park but gave it away.

my mates bought me the 2007 WC version. That's my one and only. I'm actually not sure where it is to be honest. I assume it's in a drawer at home somewhere.

Before going overseas, I was all old-school and wouldn't wear one. It was a weird NZ thing - I don't think people felt like you could wear one as a supporter without 'earning' it.

I'm much happier with the new model of 'wear to support the team'. It's a change for kiwis, but a good one I think.

I also bought a Black Caps shirt to wear as well 😃

@mariner4life If it's not the 2007 silver jersey it's not worth keeping. 🤣

I have a few limited edition rugby jerseys but I'm not someone who wears them regularly, only at a rugby game. I did wear my AB jersey at the 2002 basketball WCs.

You raise an interesting point, it's not about the colour, I think more to the point for myself, it is the collar or even faux-collar that I prefer.

For both 2011 and 2015 we went with a more "traditional" style with a white collar in 2011 and a black collar in 2015 right, and what were the outcomes of those World Cups?

I just think that a "jersey" without a collar of any sort looks more like a t-shirt and is just like most other sports including soccer. Where as a jersey with a collar is much more traditional rugby.

Just looking at 2011, 2015 and 2019 jerseys side by side on Google Images, I'd rank them in the following order:

    1. 2015
    2. 2011
    3. 2019

The more I look at it, the more I can't help feel that the 2019 just looks like a performance t-shirt. But as @nzzp said, I'll still be supporting them not matter what, they could wearing anything in that regards.

Went and tried an All Blacks one on today. They're smaller fitting again. Had to get 2 sizes bigger than usual. But they fit nice.

I like how they choose a medium blue in honour of A Smith.

i found a NOS on ebay.. wore it to a test at Stade.. still had all the labels hanging on it that i wanted to leave on there.. some old duck (kiwi, which was odd we were surrounded by frogs) sitting behind me was all 'dear you've still got your labels on there.. RIPPPP here you go... '

I've never bought an AB jersey, must be a cheap b'stard, and my mates have never bought me one - fluffybunnies.

I generally have an AB beanie thought and wear that with a black icebreaker jacket (in NZ) or a black hoodie (in Oz).

I tried to buy the Maori ABs polo from a few seasons ago but they were all sold out and then I didn't really like the old style and I have a Magpies t shirt and hoodie which I barely wear because they're fugly (they looked good on the website when I ordered them online).

you wouldn't believe it, but I got one given to me this morning 🙂

@Yeetyaah sorry mate, sizing is pretty standard 😃

They look better on than they do in the pictures. Thin fabric, but now I can play rugby at the top level, right?

Also - all going to plan, the sleeve's going to be out of date in 4 months
