Hating the most popular band of all time... ooooh! You're all so edgy and hip
except @mariner4life who gave up his hipster beard and is just a shouty old man now.
I don't particularly fanboi on the Beatles - there are some absolute classics there that, harmonically, are structured in a way that nobody else was able to replicate. And there was a lot of shit as well.
The rating was for the film itself.

I put the Beatles success down to the amount of LSD their fans took.
That may have been true from a certain point, but would be ignoring the first 3-4 years of their pop stuff before Sgt Pepper.
As for Ed Sheeran - dude can rock a stadium, and for a gormless ranga with coke bottle glasses is clearly doing something right. Respect.
If you want to really hate on a band for producing nothing but shit, try The Doors.
Doors are sensational. âRoadhouse Bluesâ, âLight my Fireâ and âLA Womanâ are bonafide classic rock songs. I donât have much time for Morrisonâs poetry wank but he remains one of the coolest frontmen who ever lived.
The odd good song here and there aside I think both the Beatles and Stones are massively overrated. From that era Iâll take Zep, the Who, Deep Purple, Floyd, Sabbath or Hendrix over them in a heartbeat.

People only liked their "songs" because they were stoned
Roadhouse Blues is an inspirational tune about alcohol abuse. What part of âwoke up this morning and I got myself a beerâ do you not understand ?

John Lennon is a different story. I like him.
Lennon was a twat - but I like lots of his Beatles music. I think he's easily the most unlikeable Beatle but everyone loves him as the cool one - so WTF do I know?
Harrison is my favourite
Whaka Yeah

Paul McCartney unable to end live version of Hey Jude
10th August 2017
"FEARS are growing for Paul McCartney who is now 16 hours into an acoustic version of Hey Jude and appears unable to prevent another chorus.
After close to 4,000 âna, na, na, nana nana, nana nana, Hey Judesâ, McCarneyâs early exuberance transformed into panic and now has been replaced by a grim resignation.
His voice hoarse and his hands raw, McCartney looked haggard as the audienceâs insatiable, ruthless desire for more Hey Jude became brutally apparent.
Fan Julian Cook said: âEvery time he reaches a crescendo I feel satisfied, but roughly half a second later all I want is to hear the first part of the chorus again.
âOf course I feel a bit sorry for McCartney, especially when he uses the seconds between lines to beg for mercy, but he shouldâve thought of that before he wrote such a catchy song.â
While McCartney has been able to eat morsels of food between choruses, his attempts to shower and defecate have been more problematic.
He said: âThese braying jackals wonât ever be satisfied. If I ever get out of this I promise to only play Mull of Kintyre, nobody has ever complained about that ending.â"
