@Chris how confident are you that Jordie has signed? Chit chat around the Green Man (Canes partner bar) over the weekend suggests they are going no where. Just hope they announce their moves soon (if they are heading off).

@Canes4life you can never be 100% sure
    But reasonably confident

@Chris Interesting, obviously hope it doesn't happen because I think the Crusaders don't need him.

Also heard that Pari Pari Parkinson might be on the move to the Canes next year, joining Lomax. However I will take that with a grain of salt considering we are fairly filled up with locks now. (assuming IWL re-signs).

    @Canes4life that would surprise me
The canes have a lot of good locks for next year recruited well with Scrafton and if IWL re-signs
Seems someone wouldn’t be happy in the pecking order

@Chris yeah similar to Jordie, he might actually risk missing out on a starting berth if he makes that move.

@Chris would you have JB in your starting team or would you persist with the Goodhue and Ennor combo?

@Steven-Harris that’s not a bad source so it maybe a possibility too cant see why he would go to The Highlanders to play FB same position he plays at The Canes but who knows

@Chris During the week the Canes had their awards night and Piney may have let one out of the bag here. Surely if Beaudy and Jordie were leaving, they would have spoken.

@cgrant Goodhue played for Northland in the 2017 Mitre 10 Cup at 2nd five ,Rene Ranger thought that would he his long term position..!

This is what I have written to argue my suggestion.

@Canes4life Yeah maybe they also may not want it released as yet for various reasons. You could also say if they were staying why not announce it during the playoffs that would have been a boost to their team mates.Opposite if they were leaving so you can read into whatever you want.
Jordies Gf is from CHCH her family is still there.Jordie did uni studies at Lincoln and has a close Relationship with Razor from NZ u/20s and Canterbury days.Scott is entrenched at the Crusaders so really you can make an argument for either Going or Staying.
Personally he should stay at the Canes we have enough backs for 2020.

@Chris yeah it's a hard one. I guess we just have to sit and wait until these announcements are made before commenting too much. Also I believe Jordie's GF has a job in Wellington so that could also keep them here.

This is some next level, and actually quite creepy, stalking.

What did Jordie have for dinner tonight and what is he watching on Netflix ?

I don't think Ennor is ready to be a starting centre. He got found out on defence vs the canes and his distribution on attack isn't where it needs to be. Great with ball in hand and has all the skills, but not quite ready yet.

My guess (based onccurrent squad only) would be Havili into 12, Goodhue staying put at 13 with Bridge, Reece and Ennor the back three. Jordan at chance to go past one of them, and based on this season probably a heavy rotation of all four plus Mataele.

I quite liked the backline that was on towards the end, before Mo’unga was replaced.
