@Nepia I teach at the high school, a parent came in who manages that 3rds team, saying Hayman just rocked up, most of the boys had no idea who he was. Student Support Teacher had no idea who Hayman was...

@westcoastie Crazy how that happens. I did my placement for uni at a high school, one of the students was the child of Carl Hoeft, I saw the the last name on the roll and asked the student. I banged on about it to the other teachers and pretty much none of them had any idea who he was.

For all the shit Reece has been getting, Hayman is lucky he didn't do time in France.

    Yep

Him and Bryon Kelleher incidents were much much egregious than Reece

But I guess they happened in France so few folks give a shit

its always bigger news in NZ when they are current All Blacks,

Once they have moved on, its still news but not the same drama should they be sacked ? etc etc

@Bones Found it. Not quite the same but yes a Booboo on my part. He should be on his way to bed by now as well, only a few hours until the cricket.

Yes it is, and it may have been deliberate given who I was addressing / versing...

I have more important issues with you though - I have seen your posts in the cricket thread and you should have been in bed long before any of that nightmare happened young man.

Deans got of lightly with only 16 years (so far) of blame.

@MN5 when he started his second career as a rugby player circa 2004, his throwing was actually top drawer.

Yeah great......Lee Stensness probably actually made a tackle too.....I try not to let facts get in the way of a good misconception.

@jegga By LinkedIn standards, it's pretty modest....

Good mate of mine knows Oliver well - close friend. Rates him highly as an all round good bloke

I have fond memories as a kid travelling to Auckland to watch a test. We pulled into a motel and my Dad told me to get out of the car. Got out of the car and Bryan Williams was standing there, shook his hand and I was so stoked. Pretty sure he owned or ran the motel from memory.
