It's not classed as a friendly because both teams think they are a chance to win

Yeah but obviously you haven't been reading all the posts here. Whoever wins or loses it doesn't really matter.

read them all? of course not, some posters feel the need to take a joke and insert it in to everything until it just turns in to spam, and more annoying than the original.

I take it as a compliment

We have some obsessed folks on TSF who look to shoehorn it anywhere

Yeah cool. Any idea when the team is named?

I'd really rather you told us about your brekky with Jerome Kaino, Liam Squire, Joe Moody and Damien McKenzie than bust out that lame as fuck gag.

Jealousy is a terrible emotion , so irrational.

Speaking of which I don’t think Hags4life knows about that breakfast.

I had an All Black at my wedding. My old man plays two of them each week at tennis. It ain't no thang.

Former all blacks are a dime a dozen mate. I had breakfast with current test players.

Really ? only a quarter of them are off to the WC by my reckoning.

Don't be potty I meant at the time.

@MN5 was it you that had the rant that started the gag in the first place?

‘‘Twas Gollum who started it .

For all his faults Gollum was capable of some spectacular rants.

    [Insert team captain]

“Rugby World Cup plans back on track”
“We suffered a setback last weekend, but have bounced back”
“We knew it was going to be tough after last week, but it just goes to show the character of this team”
“Even though they lost last week we knew we were going to be in with a real fight”

Cheika faces quite the dilemma doesn't he?

Most teams are trying to give everyone a run, while managing work loads, maybe a bit of fine tuning.

Michael needs wins. And confidence. And continuity. Not being blessed with depth, that means playing the top team with little rotation. That means playing a fair amount of rugby before the World Cup, and the obvious disadvantages that brings. Tough balancing act.

Ahhh... the strong irony, and weak self-awareness... I was wondering where the Baron had gone.

I read somewhere that he "ran the wrong lines" to be a decent winger.

Is this the PC "let's not offend anyone" term for "too slow" ?

Better hope Hooper doesn't get injured as I don't see any real cover on the bench.

Awesome. If we hump the Argies by a couple dozen it'll be the dawning of a new era.... Until the ABs crush us twice and Samoa scare the hell out of us.

@NTA I understand your pain Nick but I think those results are unlikely.

It is still easier to be the pessimist though.

Pumas have a significantly better Starting XV than Wallabies

Beyond Sio Hooper Genia Kerevi TK + Beale Pumas are better across the park

Wallabies do have an advantage on the bench though

Wallabies will win this fairly comfortably, IMO.

    Yeah they’ve basically picked 5 locks, 1 openiside and a number 8.
